Looks like the Tide Pride waiting list is now open for next season’s football tickets. Any idea how many Tide Pride priority points are needed to make sure you get tickets relatively quickly?

I don’t think you’ll have any trouble getting season tix - you might not prefer the seat location of where you are offered tix depending on the points.

I can envision a day when I don’t love being there as much as I do. But today is not that day.

Thank you

Not sure I have the money to make a donation that’d move me to the point of being in the lower bowl

I got season tickets starting in 2011 after waiting a few years. I got on the list soon as Saban was hired... like a lot of people probably. This year's season ticket package sucked... now even the "game of the year" A&M game has been downgraded for obvious reasons. Miss St might end up being the "biggest" home game after A&M and au implode.

But starting next season... there's some great home schedules in the next several years.

That was one of the reasons I wanted to try and start getting tickets along with hopefully having them by the time my toddler is old enough to maybe sit through a game.

In recent years, you have been able to purchase entire season ticket packages on StubHub for not much of a markup over the actual cost.

I let my 8 go this year because it got to where I almost never went, and it became even more difficult to get rid of them at decent prices, especially the weak OOC games, which are almost worthless. My experience is that the value for all games has dropped.

I had waited several years to get the option to purchase season tickets and finally was able to a few years ago. I made it to about 4 games for the first two or so years, but I could not sell the other games. I eventually had to give away tickets to veterans (which i'm more than happy to do) but even the SEC games was hard to get anyone to buy. So I eventually just gave up and I am now just buying tickets to the games I want to go.

I still enjoy going though. I love parking downtown and getting a few drinks and roaming around before the game. I have learned that my daughter isn't going to look like some of these girls though that basically dress like strippers. If she chooses to go to UA and if I see her dress like that I am yanking her a#$ out of there and she will go to a local college.

My hope is that my employer will pay for the tickets and I’ll go to a few games each year and give away the rest to customers. Not sure how successful I’ll be in suggesting that though

Haha...well she is only 1.5 so I have quite a few years before I have to worry about that. In the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy the "scenary"

Next week is when waiting list folks are able to purchase tickets depending on inventory. Any chance there will be lower level tickets available?

I read somewhere that folks who had the option to move and wanted to move to better seating in the lower bowl were thinking they would just pay the difference in Tide Pride. Instead, they were being told they needed to pay a one time donation ($7500) plus the difference in Tide Pride and tix. Saw more than one person post this. Certainly check and see for yourself when the time comes, but be prepared for potential sticker shock.

I’ve never tried to buy season tickets before until this year. Got my email that said I’m #335 out of 800 and my chance to buy tickets is like 11:30 next Wednesday morning. What should I go in expecting? Chances of getting any (idc if they’re upper)? Guessing they’re about $500 each? I’m just new to it all.

I went through the seat change process a couple of weeks ago, and I have pretty low priority points. I decided to keep my seats instead of moving. I've had season tickets since 2010 or 2011, whenever the newest endzone addition opened. Two weeks ago there were few lower bowl tickets to choose from. Good luck.

Yeah we went through the seat change process a few weeks ago as well. Had tickets since '03. We are in the first few rows of the west side uppers. Considered a move to the lower bowl, but inventory was way low in price level we wanted and anything else was going to require upping our donation.

The seat selection map is live now and it’s only upper deck available I guess I’ll just see if there’s any worth buying when my time comes on Tuesday
