Also love not having a single traffic light the 90 miles between here and Tuscaloosa on Hwy 82. Thank you for your continued service.

It's a lot better now since they completed the road where you don't have to go through Centerville. At least it's four lane from Centerville to Tuscaloosa.

Wasn’t he anti-center?

No, what Clay Webb said was basically that he would prefer to start in the program as a GUARD - and that is exactly what he is doing. Most offensive linemen in the interior are cross-trained.

Webb said he would actually rather play guard than center in college.

That’s not saying much for her. She’s from Arkansas but the thing is they’re(Alabama and Arkansas) very similar.

It depends on which part of Arkansas you’re talking about. Anything north of I-40 is a lot different than Alabama.

We lived in Conway, and it was very similar IMO.

Clay Webb? He's doing fine. He's running with the #2's and #3's right now at Guard mostly and some Center.

Dawgs have three 5-stars in backup positions right now (also Jamaree Salyer and Cade Mays who is in a battle w/ Ben Cleveland for RG).

How full of shite will Kirby be when he cries about 5-stars sitting on the bench at Alabama when he has all those 5-star OL watching the game this season?

Like I said, north of I-40. Conway is on I-40 and in the Arkansas River Valley. Pretty similar to Mississippi and Alabama. But northern Arkansas is very different.

And you know he's already been passionately spewing that shite on the recruiting trail.

so Kirby was an honest/passionate recruiter that was never negative all those years w/ Bama getting #1 class after #1 class - but now at UGA he has flipped and is super negative w/ multiple bagmen.

Got it!

If you don't like people saying things about Kirby, then maybe you should just post on the Georgia board. This isn't the place to start defending your virtue

Kirby was well liked and respected when he was here. Then he nuked the bridges as he walked out the door being a total classless act and continues to act that way. He made his bed, now he can lie in it.

There have been lots of promises made by Kirby. Will be interesting to see how/if they manage to keep everyone happy. It's sort of blown up in their face once already with Fields.

There were mistakes on both sides with Kirby and Fields.

Kirby mismanaged how to work Justin into the games and he tried to avoid controversy by making Fields time in the game generic and predictable. While Saban handled it a little better, it’s easy to forget that Tua might have transferred had he not gotten into that Natty game and won it. Elite talent wants to play. Fields wanted to be the man, so did Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray - it’s not just a “Kirby thing”.

Fields was told he would be allowed to compete for the job - and he was allowed to in Fall camp. He was beat out by Fromm - most Freshman, no matter how talented need time to grow into the position. Fields thought he would come in and just take the job - he underestimated his competition. Fields is going to be great. I watched him play at Harrison HS for two years. Strong arm, accurate and running threat in a big body. He will put up pinball numbers up at Ohio State.

SMH. You don’t hate him because he’s classless - you hate him because he’s a threat. Just be honest about it. Kirby is exactly the same now as then - he just wears a different colored visor.
