Not our practice, but Trevor Knight again got beat out for the starting QB job at OU. He genuinely sucks outside of his Joe Montana performance against us in the Sooner Bowl.
I'm halfway expecting Cardale Jones to blow chunks this year.

Stephen Garcia syndrome.

I don't know, Jones was also good in the BIg Ten Champ game and NCG.
The Trevor Knight performance is puzzling though. I hate to make excuses but team was probably still hung over from the Iron Bowl. He did look like a cross between Joe Montana and Dan Marino though

It's not the first time he's done it but Tosh.O really ripped Saban tonight. He sure can hold a grudge

Suttles's latest info has Bateman surging and it being a two horse race between him and Coker.

It's hilarious to me how Miami fans claim that they are glad Saban is gone, yet some of them can't stop talking about him.
We're all glad Franchione is gone, and Alabama fans seldom mention him. Why do some Miami fans still waste time talking about Saban unless they wish he still coached there?

Cooper is the new messiah

dont believe any of that. there is very little way to surge in a practice today. I think the jockying is over after two scrimmages. And NS said Barnett is going to play this year because he is too talented.

This is crazy. This morning he was saying a tight battle between Morris and Coker and 11 hours later it's Bateman and Coker? WTF is going on?

Speaking of which, Barnett playing makes garbage time so much more enjoyable. Hopefully Saban lets him air it out to get reps. No point in playing him just to hand it off.
Actually now that I think about our depth problems at RB, I can definitely see Saban letting Barnett throws the rock in garbage time. He probably won't wanna risk hurting any RBs. I mean, he could just run the walk ons...

Saban is getting the media to screw with everyone. We're gonna bust out a 5 QB offense.
Coker at TE, Bateman at WR, Cornwell at HB, Morris at QB, Barnett at RB
Double passes galore

He is the QB that Alabama deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

I don't think the coaches pay much attention.

I don't think it's too far fetched to pick him 3rd team. He has a lot if experience plus safety is probably his more natural position. He isn't chopped liver, he just wasnt 100 percent at any point last yeat.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with him having some Bama grads as his writers.
