Sucks he's gone I was really excited about him. This reminds me of Alvin Kamara. Good luck to him.

Assumptions again like some others on here.

But again maybe if I understood them better would not have retired already at such a young age.

How about you?

There is nothing more important than credibility when it comes to getting internet traffic. IF you can get it.

Getting a little defensive I see.

I started up a consultant business once I got out of the corps and finished my degree. So successful helping out businesses I was able to sell it and will never need to work again if I desire. Which for the record was based on credibility as why it was successful. But with boredom seeing how I am still in my forties decided to teach and do that at one of the top 10 business schools in the country, mainly in their MBA program.

But my reply may not fit your narrative so have it with your internet credibility.

Replying to your post because it's last.

I think the kid bought in what the coaches and leadership told him when boz spoke with him, and boz shared it because it was genuinely positive.
Then the kid goes home and hears all the clutter about how you should be starting, why aren't you?, etc.
He got swayed and this is the outcome.
In the NFL the players and coaches say we have to work with the players that are here, and not focus on the ones that are not. I think many on here are saying the same thing.
It's a shame, because with all the playing time he could've had this year, he easily would have been high on teams draft board entering next year.

I think he most definitely had a major role this upcoming season

I don’t know what that could be based on other than him having 5 stars in high school. He was clearly behind Lewis, Jennings, and Allen at the minimum as an OLB candidate.

Anoma was definitely ahead of Allen, based on Aday's groupings and performance - and to my eye, looked like we was going to have a breakout year. He looked the best on the hoof and the most explosive athlete of the group.

But barring a major 180 real soon, we'll never know. Life goes on.

The hell are you talking about?

When I mention credibility, I'm talking about internet traffic. You know, the topic being talked about. I'm not talking about my personal credibility.

Did you forget the topic was people claiming clickbait was what journalism is/does now?

In a nutshell, when it comes to search engines and real internet traffic, who links to you and how often is somewhat of a big deal. A link from a major website like ESPN for example is worth way more than a link from SECRant. And I'm not talking about how many people directly follow these links, even though it would be more from ESPN. The real value is that search engines see these links and that makes them more likely to show that website in the results.

Not to mention all these articles are quoting cecil as the source, thus making them being seen as an authority on the topics, further increasing their value in results.

A major source like ESPN will quote someone like Cecil giving them more credibility/authority, but you aren't going to see them quoting and linking some random blog where you see all the clickbait type stuff most of the time.

So as I previously said, if you can get it, credibility is the way to go. Everyone else runs clickbait because that is what they have to do.

But grats on your success and thanks for posting your resume that doesn't even seem relevant to the topic.

I'm no insider, but there seems to be evidence/chatter that he got into Saban's doghouse via failed drug tests, and didn't want to do what was asked of him after breaking team rules. And so he quit - to take the easy way. That's my reading between the lines. But, he was definitely suspended recently for something, so...

I am not going to apologize for not giving Cecil any ecred. I do not read or follow him but do understand how the model works. Yes the more credibility that you have you get more clicks.

In regards to resume you posted your job and asked "How about you?" so I responded and not really much of a resume that I posted.

Pretty much and it’s why I was disappointed. He faced a crossroads and IMO went the easy left.

You were the one who said "Assumptions again like some others on here". Truth is, I didn't assume anything, if you knew the business we wouldn't be disagreeing.

I told you why I have knowledge on the topic. I didn't see anything in your stroking that said you were knowledgeable on SEO or getting traffic on the internet.

I hate this. He'll regret this decision when he matures. This isn't even about Bama, this is about Anoma

Yeah that’s the heartbreaking part. He will look up at 30 and think “ Damn, I could have been a millionaire if I just would have listened to Coach Saban and bought in”

I do it everyday at work and think if I just would have tried harder in school I could have got a great college degree and not be pouring sweat right now.

He could still go on and have lots of success.

But his odds just took a huge plummet.
