BoB is basically McElwain and Pete is a lot like early Kirby.
This might be the worst take I’ve ever heard, not just on this board, and not just in sports, but of all time. Literally every person since the Mayans who have predicted the end of the world have had more sound reasoning than you. You truly stand alone.

Well, we can't. So, I will act like that.

We as fans who spend money and put our time into supporting the program (some by traveling miles and miles away to attend a game) have every right to criticize this program for what we see or better yet what we don't see.

Steiner will defeat the enemy and save Berlin. The Krieg is not lost. We’ve had setbacks in the past. Victory is in sight.

Pretty sure it did exist in 2010. If not we were still posting on the TigerRant

Imagine a bowl game against a decent opponent. Now imagine that we have a number of starters sitting out.
I imagine it would be like the Florida/Oklahoma game a couple of years ago.

2. McE and BoB are very similar. McE had no creativity. He ran a very old school NFL offense just like BoB does now. It leans on beating the man in front of you. Unfortunately we don’t have the talent at oline or WR to do that this year.
It’s useless to defend this position here and yes, you are right about Mclewain.
One thing about Kirby, his recruiting cannot be underestimated and he has a great eye for defensive talent.
Another thing not considered but maybe Kirby and to some extent Jeremy was a better “teacher” than Golding and current staff.
In my opinion, Golding is running Saban’s defense the way coach wants it.
There’s no pushback like with Kirby and Jeremy.

Our fans complained about Sark (especially against Clemson) all the time and they bitched a lot about Kiffin abandoning the run, especially when we had Derrick Henry now they are the gold standard that they long for. Just like our fans said Blake would never make it as a QB and that Mac Jones was awful.
Thank God God Saban is coaching our team and not our spoiled and completely ungrateful fans who are acting like two last second losses to top 10 teams is like being 4-4 or something.

I loved every second of sark, and most every second of kiffen. i have no idea what the hell you are talking about but bill o brien can't hold either of their clipboards

100% correct on everything you said.

1. There is just no way you are right about this. I think you are confusing effort with talent. These guys are working their asses off. There are no Billingsly or Hall type guys on this team. 2. McE and BoB are very similar. McE had no creativity. He ran a very old school NFL offense just like BoB does now. It leans on beating the man in front of you. Unfortunately we don’t have the talent at oline or WR to do that this year. 3. Golding won a championship his first year and his defenses tend to get better the longer the season goes on. Last night had nothing to do with him. BoB was the only coach to blame. Our defense was put in bad situations multiple times last night and they won those way more than they lost them. Now the UcheaT game was all Pete’s fault. He went in playing scared of Hooker and never made an adjustment. 4. I hope BoB leaves after the season but if he doesn’t We’ll be ok. We can win a ‘ship with these guys coach if we have studs on the oline and wr come in next year or make improvements in the offseason. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Brockmyer twins be 3rd year studs next season.
This has to be a troll.

It’s not the end of the world
It might be the end of an era. It had to come at some point. Here's the thing...winning football games is hard. Saban's made it look easy.
Think it's not hard? Ask Jimbo. Or Dabo.
I too am disappointed with the underachievement and what I perceive as a lack of effort.
But the meltdowns on this board because this team isn't perfect every year is embarrassing.

Makes you wonder how much the Covid year affected everyone.
Anyone paying attention can see that 2020 is an outlier. That season came down to program management as much as anything. BAMA was somehow able to keep most of the team healthy and available. Which is remarkable in its own right.

On the drive where they scored the td with 1.47 min left Golding has us with 5 down lineman and man every where else. I asked everyone at my house wtf were they doing, you can't leave the fn middle of the field open. What happens...Daniel's promptly sees the middle of the field open and runs for a nice long gain. 20 plus yards. It's stupid shite like this that let's you know the guy doesn't have a clue.
I’m glad someone else saw this because I was going ballistic. It happened (voiding the middle) multiple times in the 4th quarter. LSU would use motion and formations (novel concepts for BOB) to scheme the middle open. We would gladly abide every time.
