Epic matchup hype being ruined by fatigue narrative.

Since 2005 there has been one other matchup between teams that on average are 30 points better than their opponents by FPI. USC vs Texas 05 and this game. These are two giants playing right now and the only thing people can do is groan about “the same matchup.” and look for non fans I can get it can a be little tiring seeing the same uniforms. But it shouldn’t be this year with all the major players who have never played against each other. It’s essentially the first time matchup for a lot of these players. Regardless it’s just sad how this game is viewed with how amazing the matchup actually is.
