Jennings had surgery, so he's out.

Damn. That hurts. That’s why it would’ve been nice if we had kept the defense off the field towards the end of the game.

exactly. Just make a few first downs instead of all the 3 and outs.

Jennings is more of the light package guy. We will be in base a lot against UGA. He would have played but not near as much as he did against Clemson.

Oh and JC is way better than cotton.

Saban said Lewis or C Miller, or Mosley would play in Jennings spot. So, its good those two can play, now.

Dammit. I thought his injury was reported as a sprain/strain?

Alabama working on O-line contingencies as title game approaches
quote:

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama football got back to work Wednesday to prepare for its final run of the season.

Fresh off a Sugar Bowl win over Clemson, the Crimson Tide practiced indoors as the team began preparations for its national championship showdown against Georgia on Monday night inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

What we saw

There was no sign of right guard Lester Cotton (knee). We haven’t received official word on Cotton’s status, but he was spotted on crutches in the locker room following the Clemson game. Alabama coach Nick Saban said Cotton was being evaluated in Birmingham on Tuesday.

As expected, there was no sign of linebacker Anfernee Jennings (knee). Jennings tweeted Wednesday morning that he had successful surgery, but won’t play in the title game.

With Jennings out, Jamey Mosley led one of the outside linebacker groups through drills while Christian Miller led the other. Losing Jennings is huge because he’s built to face teams like Georgia.

With Cotton out, senior J.C. Hassenauer stepped in at right guard with the first-team offensive line. Hassenauer has served as Alabama’s sixth man on the interior of the offensive line this season. He stepped in when left guard Ross Pierschbacher was knocked out against Mississippi State.

Speaking of the offensive line, watch out for freshman Jedrick Wills. There’s a chance he could come in at right tackle if Alabama wanted to move Matt Womack to right guard. We saw the offensive line working on that earlier in the season. There’s also the possibility of Wills playing guard. He’s a big, physical player with a lot of versatility.

Running back Josh Jacobs is still working with the support strip on his right hamstring. Jacobs had some snaps in the Clemson game, but didn’t get many touches. Jacobs participated in some drills, but worked toward the back of the line.

Offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy (leg) wore a black non-contact jersey, but he was doing some on-field drills near the offensive line. There’s no chance of him playing, but Kennedy is making progress in his rehab.

Tight end Miller Forristall (knee) and linebacker Dylan Moses (foot) both rode stationary bikes while wearing black non-contact jerseys. Both are out for the game on Monday.

I was just sent a copy of a tweet that said Dylan Moses was participating in individual drills today. Doubt this means much for Monday, but glad he's up and around.

Looks like it was a report on AL.com

Apparently Minkah sustained a new injury vs Clemson and the coaches have no clue if he'll be able to play.

He played the entire game, celebrated afterwards and was at practice yesterday. Where did you get this info?

Apparently he didn’t practice at all today. Who knows, with our luck
