Did Brailsford‘s snaps look slow to you?

There were multiple times Saturday I found myself watching the snap and thought they looked slower than what I was expecting to see.

Am imagining that?

I'd rather a slow, accurate snap than a bullet at Milroe's feet.

Absolutely!

We did get one over his head, but I think even that is better than the constant rhythm disruption of a frequently low snap.

Yes, he floats the snap more than previous centers but Seth had an awful tendency of sending rockets back, with no idea if they were coming face high or knee high.

So this:

Yeah I think some were kind of slow. The one that went over his head was almost like he lunged forward as the ball left his hand. His blocking was great though.

I don't really see this as a bad thing, as long as the snap gets to the QB and is catchable

I believe I heard DeBoer say after the game that the high snap was a product of a miscommunication between Brailsford and Milroe. Brailsford was still making calls when Milroe clapped for the ball, so it threw off Brailsford’s rhythm.

Who was the backup center?

Idk but DeBoer confirmed there was a communication issue that caused the high snap. Basically Brailford was calling the protection, and Milroe clapped before he was ready.

Maybe Seth McLaughlin wasn't BSing about the cadence issues
