DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle should've been reversed

DeVonta Smith to the Dolphins was a no-brainer.
Tua and Devonta had a special connection on the field. For whatever reason, Tua always loved throwing to Devonta, and always hit him perfectly in stride. The ball seemed to be a magnet whenever Tua threw to Devonta.
Tua and Jaylen were pretty good, but the throws always seemed to be a little off when throwing to Waddle.
DeVonta instead goes to the Eagles which is a terrible fit for him. DeVonta Smith needs a QB with great accuracy and anticipation in order to truly shine, and Jalen Hurts isn't that guy. In fact, Jalen Hurts always seemed to love throwing to Waddle, because Waddle could take his short throw and turn it into a huge gain.
I could be wrong, but would've loved to see these picks reversed.

Tua had what might have been the best, most pure throw of his career to Waddle @UT.

Absolutely agree, but no question that Devonta was Tua's favorite target, and highest completion % target. I think if it were up to him, he would've chosen Devonta

I would have taken Jalen first, just based on his versatility

Dolphins already had a receiver named Devonta. Would’ve cause too much confusion...

You'd think Tua would have at least been asked his thoughts on each. Couldn't go wrong with either, but I did kinda want the duo from the biggest play in Bama history to reunite.

No, it wasn't.

Agree and I would have taken Smitty ,but I think the Phins wanted a PR/KR as well in a WR.
Smith weight may have been the difference only because of the return game need/threat the phins were looking for.Short fields can make a big difference in what the Phins feel there offense is right now. That compliments a very good defense , but with all that said I would have taken Smith.

Here's the question. Which QB would Smith and Waddle have chosen to go to between Tua and Hurts?

Alright you little shite heads who down voted me!
Tell me why Smitty to the Fins was a no-brainer or meet me at Sonic for a knucklecheck and a route 66.

Which one of you dick weeds is about to get a quesadilla burger beat down in the parking lot of Apple Bees for downvoting? Tua can't even throw beyond 15 yards in the NFL anyways.

I think the pick was based on what they need most from a WR and that is big play ability where Waddle is the best in the class. If the injury isn't a long-term concern, I think it's the correct call.

If I want a receiver with big play ability then give me Devonta Smith. Waddle is certainly more versatile but Smith is better and proved it.

I don't think that's how NFL drafts work.

Feel really bad for DeVonta. Hurts isn’t a QB that excels at throwing the ball. Hurts running doesn’t do anything for DeVonta’s stats
