As part of a new 15-year agreement with Alabama that it announced Tuesday, Learfield is creating a dedicated hub for NIL called The Advantage Center for Crimson Tide athletes’ NIL endeavors, that the company believes is a first nationally. It will be located inside Bryant Denny Stadium with a goal of opening this calendar year, says Learfield CEO Cole Gahagan.
Learfield and Alabama plan to collaborate on the development of the center to provide both a physical home and a staff to educate athletes on NIL opportunities and showcase successful local and national NIL-related relationships.
In renderings provided to Sports Illustrated, the Advantage Center is expected to include a host of NIL-related features: a digital ticker announcing the latest news in athlete deals; a studio with a green screen to provide athletes a place to shoot NIL-related videos; a wall dedicated to Alabama player NIL deals and opportunities; and meeting space to possibly help facilitate brand-and-athlete relationships.
“There’s no company better situated than ours to facilitate NIL. We are connected to over 10,000 brands nationally and locally. We are in the best position to bring those brands into the ecosystem to help create relationships between companies and athletes,” Gahagan says.

I’m sure Kirby will copy soon but he’s going to be occupied with legal and NCAA issues and personal injury lawyers for a while.

Learfield IMG College Is the one playing 3D chess. They’re worth about $2.5billon right now. Marketing outfits like this is the one behind the scenes pushing NIL for quite awhile now.
Players might get paid, but nothing like what Learfield is fixing too. NIL is the motherlode of deals for them. These are the 3D chess playing smart m’fckers.

This is for all sports or just football? It being inside BDS sounds like its more football related but I hope its for all sports. Sounds like a great plan.

A highlight of the new agreement is a first-of-its-kind, dedicated NIL hub called The Advantage Center, which will serve as the epicenter of support for NIL endeavors for the more than 600 Crimson Tide student-athletes.
NVM Found that tweet from Alabama athletics, so its for all sports.

That is a lot of money. It is mind blowing that there are some individuals who personally have that much and more. Musk was worth about 20 times that not long ago.

Just think about this. The ratio of talent coming out of high schools in all sports vs the ones that actually make it the pros coming from collegiate sports.
At one time the ratio was 1-100 that get drafted in the nfl. 4&5 stars coming out of HS is probably way more than that. It’s a goldmine for sports marketing firms to get into the collegiate ranks
