Would have been better doing one for 2 and 26.

Has he done one for that play yet? I’m not talking about a montage, but a simple painting of the play itself? Seems crazy to me that arguably the best play in Alabama history doesn’t have a painting but Najee leaping a South Carolina player does.

He probably knows his business better than I do but seems like if he dialed it back to strictly the meaningful/special moments, he could probably charge a little bit more of a premium.

He has a painting titled 2nd & 26, but it's really a montage painting.

He's gone to quantity over quality, and pumping them out once or twice a year. I guess more power to him, but they've gotten really stale.

When I was growing up, it was a HUGE deal when he'd do one. I can remember there being crowds at University Mall to see the latest release. I think he only did 1992 prints of The Crimson Legacy, and even back in the early 90's The Goal Line Stand would fetch a few thousand dollars on the secondary market. I don't think he did one at all between Desperation Block(88 or 89) and Crimson Legacy(92). But then he did 3 for the 92 season, and hasn't really looked back.

Yeah......his stuff is trash now but they used to be pretty cool: I actually have four of them: The Goal Line Stand, The Sack, The Kick, and The Strip sitting in a closet somewhere

Why did he make it in the colors of a World War I film footage?

He always does a pencil sketch before the main painting.

It's good that holder FG percentage is not a thing, or Tua might be the worst of all time.

It might have brought down his efficiency rating.

I’m sure there are still people that buy them at the same clip, but he released that Najee print before the leaves even changed. There was still a ton of football left with a bunch of big games. Seems to silly for him to just dilute his own product like that.

Maybe he tries to pump out enough for Christmas each year and it costs him next to nothing to do a painting and he’s dialed into with good margins.

Yes and I don't think it's very good.
I have "The Tradition Continues" from the win over Miami for the Championship. It is a montage but pretty good with Stallings lifted by Curry and Copeland in the foreground and The Strip in the background. Was there and it is special to me.
