Always some fun games to watch this week of the year, as far as the mid majors are concerned.

waiting for Sandkhan to start the SEC Tourney thread (I mean we have won 9 of 10).

LSU/Kentucky. LSU can't fire their coach for another day if they win and the Kentucky melt if they don't pull this out will be amazing. $22 million.

Hello 10 seed. Of course, long way to go.

Oh I’m going to start a game thread for each of our games. I didn’t do it for the whole tournament because I hate the rest of these bum arse teams

The upside of the Boogs winning this game is now they'll likely get run out of the gym on national tv Tuesday night for all to see in the play-in game. So we got that going for us.

Down goes Miami OH.

Let’s see if the committee puts in barely .500 Auburn or a team that was ranked and only lost 1 game a year and are one missed blood pressure pill by Bruce away from being called antisemites on Twitter

Who do we not want to play in the big tourney besides Mich/Duke/Ariz/Fla? Those are obvious.

I don't want to be a #3 in Greenville, SC with UNC as the #6. Pass. I realize it's about the same distance, don't care.

I'd like to stay away from Gonzaga all things considered too.

UConn/Purdue haven't been playing all that well.

thoughts?

I weirdly want to avoid Houston. We’ve had their number recently but I think it’s a bad matchup this year.

I’d honestly rather get another crack at Gonzaga. The tournament is wacky though. No point in stressing about it too much until we have to play them.

Houston doesn't scare me (I'll likely regret this ) . I think their slow down game kind of works against them against us. We just need one run to get back into any game with them. They keep us in it when things are going bad.

I agree. They also rarely have big interior guys. They are generally long at other positions.

As for Gonzaga, I'm good with another shot at them. They are a lot less of a team without Huff. When Huff and Ike were together though, that was a problem for us and still would be.

Yeah. The fact that Tennessee struggled against a .500 team that has been awful down the stretch is also telling.

The committee should leave both of them out and put them on probation.
