Let me know when you take over for Saban. I look forward to the decade of perfect seasons.

With that out of the way, LaBryan Ray IS HURT. Much like a mandatory NCAA suspension, how can the staff 'see' past that?

Kaho doesn't start, plays sparingly on defense, and didn't record any stats today. He did, however, make a teeny tiny play on special teams.

Shane Lee led the team in tackles and had a sack, but yeah he can't play linebacker.

75 of those yards came on aTm's last 2 possessions. The run defense was just fine today.

People need to chill out. I feel like the defense played better today but, as has been in the case in all the games we have played thus far, teams are moving the ball when the game is entirely out of reach. A&M was doing nothing with their running game until the score was 47-20. We lost our intensity at that point and Mond was able to get some pointless yardage added to his stat sheet.

We're not elite on defense but we definitely aren't as bad as some people think we are.

125 on the ground. 4.5 yards per rush

Most of that was in semi-garbage time to Kellen Mond.

I remember the stat popped up in the 3rd quarter and it was 2.7 ypa

Shane Lee is not a good LB. if you cant see that, idk what to tell you bro
I know Ray is hurt, and Kaho doesn’t play much. But the staff has tried Kaho out. He can’t do it.
You clearly just want to argue, and are just nit-picking my post. Everything i said was accurate.

The main points, if you still want to argue:
Barmore should be a starter.
The OLine should be kept the same as it was today.
Mayden shouldn’t be on the field.

If the staff can just see those basic things, we should be fine going forward

Besides “If you can’t see he isn’t a ILB in the SEC idk what to tell you” will you expand on this?

Yeah, he’s slow, lacks basic athleticism, over pursues, and doesn’t understand angles. Christian Harris is also a true freshman and playing much better right now. Harris has real potential. I think Benton looks good also.

you are a retard if you think Shane Lee is less athletic than Trey Depriest

I don’t remember Trey DePriest so maybe you’re right. I said he MIGHT be the worst athlete. My point still stands

Benton is a better option with a higher ceiling

"seem" is the keyword because it is rarely if ever true. It's hard to believe the arrogance of the Bama fan. Don't tell me you really think you see what happening before CNS? Please don't tell me you're serious.

It's legit to be impressed with LSU. It's perplexing that someone would say that the Bama DL was getting pushed around all night. Bama had 5 sacks and 20, yes 20 hurries.

I hope you take the time to rewatch the defense. On the opening drive when Harris got nicked up Benton came into the game and was lost immediately. It never got much better than that.

I'm going to say this again when McKinney comes down and plays the hybrid LBer/safety position we are at our best fundamentally. Golding needs to downsize the position, get the X-man in more of the Dime look with an extra safety in the game. Our speed and recognition to the ball changes dramatically.

How long have you even been watching Alabama football? You say Shane Lee is the worst you have ever seen at ILB at Alabama yet you can't remember Trey DePriest, despite the fact his senior season was 2014.

Doesn't remember Trey DePreist, thinks Benton looks good. I think we can safely assume this guy is a 13 year old who doesn't know shite.

Lee isn’t depriest bad so chill on that. Lee is a freshman I thought he played well but in dime I agree Benton might be a better option but I was happy with the defense yesterday they played faster than they have all year

Yeah that's a terrible hot take. Lee isn't out there running a 4.5 or anything but he doesn't have cement in his shoes either. We have seen him make plays at or near the sideline. The only time DePriest could make it that far was when he was being subbed out.

Benton has looked confused and terrible every time he has gotten a chance to play though. Same deal as Kaho. That's why they aren't getting more chances. Lee and Harris have struggled at times but they have also made a lot of good plays too.

Shane Lee ran a laser timed 4.72 forty at 250 pounds.

He can move.

His issues yesterday were due to thinking and not reacting.
