Class of 28 Graham Simpson. Younger brother Ty won the maxprep freshman of the year. He put up some crazy stats.
quote:
239-of-315 passing for 4,135 yards, 57 touchdowns and one interception, which he threw in the state semifinal against East Nashville.
Simpson set the TSSAA record for most passing yards in a single game with 620 in a Week 11 game against Covington in which he also threw a Westview record eight touchdown passes.

Crazy how differently each site views Derek Meadows. Hopefully 247 is correct.

This staff seems to have a good eye for talent. Crazy.

Courtney Morgan was part of the Michigan staff that eyed Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant. Both were three star recruits who are going to end up in the first round of the draft this spring.

Not a single DL on the list. The beat goes on…….

Not on the list, but they’ve got 2:
Defensive lineman Kamhariyan Johnson - Muscle Shoals, Alabama
Defensive lineman Emanuel Ruffin - Bessemer, Alabama

Need to have a crap load of DEs/DTs visiting and they need to be recruits that are ready to play (not necessarily start but able to play some meaningful snaps). NOT projects.
I keep hearing “We’ll pick some up in the portal” but there usually there aren’t many good ones in portal.
Maybe JUCO defensive linemen?

Elite DL in the portal are too expensive for us. We are having trouble even keeping in-state DLs in the fold.

We didn't make Jackson Cantwell's final six.

Seems like NIL is the predominant factor in his recruitment.
