I hope we hang on to him. We've missed on home-run hitters at WR for a few classes now.

We haven't missed on them the high ranked WRs we've gotten just didn't pan out, Agiye Hall, Jacorey Brooks, Aaron Anderson were all ranked high.

I equate them not working out to missing. Not that we didn't get the player, but we missed on the evaluation for whatever reason. Don't get me wrong, I like some of our guys, but we don't have anyone on the level of a Julio/Cooper/Ridley/Waddle/Jeudy/Smith/Ruggs/Williams and we haven't had that kind of game-changer for two years now.

I like the step Bond has taken this year. I am encouraged by what little I've seen of Hale, and I like Law. I just would like to see us have that game-changer back on the roster.

A big chunk of NIL $$$ this year will be spent on the portal and saved for the special 2025 class (in-state especially). I've been hearing for months now that CNS wanted to prioritize the portal a lot more this year with the weaker national HS class of 2024 overall.

I guess Auburn is going after all the Bama commits from Alabama. Chad Simmons twitter

This was a big visit I was told…. Auburn was pushing, and they still may up until Dec 20, but Beaman says “locked in” with the Tide after the in-home visit with Saban and Roach.

They are also convinced they have flipped Bolden, Mbawke and Dixon with bags of cash.
They feel decently good on Bolden, aren’t recruiting anymore HS LB so Dixon is out, and no on Mbawke.

He’s an in-state kid and Hugh Freeze and Auburn are still playing catch up with kids that Nick Saban and Alabama have had years more to recruit.

That goes with everyone in Auburn’s current class, too. That’s why there have been so many flips to Auburn with big-time players during with 2023 and 2024 classes.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with paying them way more than anyone else so AU can claim recruiting "wins".

You guys didn't pay attention to TAMU and Miami and realize that the kids who just chase money aren't really the kids you want.

We can see the shite you’re saying over on your board dumbass. Acting as if there isn’t a wall of shite on your own ON3 board.

He’s always been a two face. Don’t know why he still has posting privileges here. I don’t think a single Alabama fan has been granted the same over there.

Getting some 2018 class vibes from this one. Glad next year is off to a strong start. Williams reclassifying would be big. I think he could step into the rotation on day 1 next year with Prentice, Bond, Law, Hale, Benson.

We'll lose a few of what's left to the portal but hope we can hang onto those above. Preston, Adams, Hamilton, Brooks, I don't want to lose any of them because we will need them all and it's too early in their development to see them bolt. Brooks particularly is an elite special teams player

It is nothing like 2018 at all. It’s just a small class.

2018 was a complete failure in-state. But that being said, there were some really good players signed in that class. The bigger with that class was not adapting to the early signing period.

Do y’all post on On3? If not, why are you offended? I don’t even post on my own On3 board because of weirdos there.

I don't think anyone is offended. (Maybe 1). I just remember how High Freeze recruits. He did the same stuff at Ole Miss, so I'm not falling for the whole "he was just behind in developing relationships" thing.

Your LB told everyone how much AU offered compared to what he was getting elsewhere. Kids like that never pan out. He will be in the portal in 2 years looking for another big handout.

How many millions does Auburn plan on spending on this 2024 class? Also how many more millions do you think Auburn will have to, or is willing to throw at these kids to keep them for 3 years?

Eboigbe is a solid player but he’s a 3-6 round pick. I hope we haven’t missed on developing that caliber of player from the group above

I respectfully disagree. Eboigbe has made up enough ground to go in the 2nd round. He has been a high impact player for us. I don't believe we missed out on development I blame Golding and his schemes and teaching on fundamentals for the most part. Guys we were good they just wasn't put in a good position to succeed and showcase their skills, things will be significantly different now.
