Agreed. Until Auburn can actually do something with 5 stars that they occasionally get I'm not worried. Didn't Freeze have AJ Brown, DJ Metcalf, Nkiemdiche brothers, Engram, Chad Kelly, and a few others that I"m missing? What did he accomplish with them besides beating Bama a couple times, one year being a fluke if we are being honest? he didn't even win the SEC West.

We all know that’s a lie but unfortunately Perry Thompson is gonna flip to Auburn. There are crystal balls coming in for him to flip and he’ll probably do it at or after Big Cat. So unless he’s pulling a TJ Yeldon or Rueben Foster he’s gone.

Regardless if he flips this weekend or not Perry, like Demarcus, aren’t shutting down their recruitment. It’s a season long thing regardless. I expect us to have a really good year and I don’t think Auburn will. We will be in good position come December and close like we always do. Don’t let Auburn people get in our heads it’s July

Let’s actually talk about some good news. Eddrick Houston appears to be cooling on Ohio State, OSU recruiting guys are saying they might be out (some small Bama smoke has been happening for a while) and Julian Lewis who people think is the next Bryce, Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams level prospect etc. will joining his Bama commit teammates at the cookout this weekend. Also no one knows what the hell KJ Bolden is going to do but we appear to be right in it.

Thats where they want to be man. They enjoy it. No different than the DT from Thompson last year. They enjoy the coaches telling them what they want to hear.

Eh I disagree different, Peter Woods went to Clemson who has been churning out DL prospects that made more sense. Not to be salty, but any high level prospect committing to a staff that you haven’t seen coach a down, haven’t seen a scheme, haven’t seen even other players in your role succeeding is crazy to me. That’s why I think it’s early, at the end of the day from previous examples turning down Bama, Georgia, Ohio State etc. for a rebuilding program has never happened much. NIL sure helps change that a little but still

Last thing on Lee County because I’m tired of talking about them this week, is like I said before this isn’t a surprise. We saw it with Texas A&M, we saw it with Miami last year, we saw it when Sark first got to Texas, kids like new. Bama isn’t new, we’ve been winning since these kids can remember, UGA isn’t new anymore, Clemson isn’t new anymore. The momentum is real and being apart of something new is appealing to some kids but just like we saw with Miami and A&M the actually games matter, not sucking matters and winning matters. Let’s see if they have this same momentum in December as they have in July.
