Ryan Williams on KJ Lacey:
quote:
“I’m happy for him that he found a place that feels like home,” Williams said. “I’ve got to steal him because he’s my quarterback. He’s going to be saying ‘Roll Tide’ in the near future… we’re used to winning. We won a state championship together. I’ll keep it in his ear that we can win state and win a natty. That should work.
“He knows how I run routes. I know how he throws passes,” Williams added. “The chemistry is already there. We can do it with our eyes closed.”

How are you guys feeling about Calhoun after his visit?

From BOL:
quote:
“I think [Bama] has a little bit of an edge as of right now,” Calhoun told BamaOnLine. “It’s kind of all of it. All the trips I’ve taken there. The development is key.”

Rivals Rankings Week: Breaking down the 2024 QBs
quote:
No. 1 at the position: Dylan Raiola
Raiola remaining the top quarterback in the country isn’t that much of a surprise but the distance between him and No. 2 quarterback Julian Sayin is shrinking. Raiola continues to show the elite traits that make him a potential first-round NFL Draft. He has the size, arm strength, mobility, footwork, mechanics and playmaking ability to elevate the players around him or cover up some of their deficiencies.
The Georgia commit has been active on the recruiting trail lately, helping the Bulldogs reel in some big commitments and improving their position with others. Raiola's next evaluation will be at the Elite 11 finals this week, where the national analyst staff will be keeping a close eye on him to see what areas of his game he's been able to develop over the last couple months.

They shouldn't even say size anymore

That's really the only knock I've seen on Sayin, but he continues to get bigger at every event he participates in.
I wouldn't be shocked if he checks in at 6'2" 200 pounds this week.

That kid looks better than the three QBs we have on campus. If he can read well he could literally start for us

His feet and mechanics are textbook and his release is just stupid quick. All that stuff has clearly been trained into him since he was pretty young by someone who knew what they were doing.

Yep, saw footage of him last year at camps… mechanics are great and a powerful arm. Seems locked in too which is a plus

He told BOL he is up to 6'2" 195 pounds.
