But then you have one position left for Story and Downs

There's no way Downs is not starting if Saban really compared him to Minkah.

Seems like we wouldve learned from Drew Sanders. No way Henry Tootoo should've been playing ILB over him.

Except Sanders didn't want to play ILB. He transferred because he wanted to play OLB. Didn't work out that way but he didn't want to move inside like Saban wanted him to.

Sanders wanted to move to inside linebacker that's why he left.

"A staff member contacted Sanders, who was receptive and said he was interested in moving to inside linebacker. And wouldn't you know it, Arkansas had just lost a pair of starters at the position. So they arranged a visit. There were no frills, Pittman said, just a clear sense that Sanders and his parents wanted to look coaches in the eye, have an honest conversation and see what felt right."

I mean if he says so. But the story at the time of his transfer was that Saban wanted him to move to ILB after Turner took his job and he didn't want to. Maybe everyone was wrong about that but that was what was believed at the time.

Literally all of his high school film is him at ILB. Thats why he was so good. We screwed up chasing portal guys.

No idea if this account has any legitimacy, but:

Jacking the ESPN College Football logo and paying for the blue checkmark shows a hustler's spirit.

Were our coaches too stupid to see he would be a high draft pick at ILB?

All of the recruiting services, Maxpreps, and his own Hudl listed him as an OLB out of high school. Literally the first 2 plays on his senior season highlight reel are him coming off the edge for a sack and then him coming off the edge to block and intercept a pass for a TD.

We didn't bring in any ILB from the portal last season. If Sanders had stayed and played ILB his competition would have been Moody and Lawson.

I think Drew and his father lost faith in either Saban or Golding or both of them and wanted a fresh start. I can understand if Drew preferred to play under Barry Odom over Golding.

As good as he was, he would have been the third best linebacker on our team last year. He went somewhere where he could shine and go pro quickly. Had he stayed with us and played this year too, he could have been a possible first rounder. His loss

UGA as of right now. Which is why Woodyard is not expected to be with us.

They also deleted the tweet

But Key did cancel his visit to anOSU, so it sounds like it's down to Bama and FSU.

He has two years of eligibility left, too.
