MSU is doing a pretty damn good job this cycle. They’ve flipped a few kids. Got something brewing

Cabell to Vandy???

According to BOL, we didn't offer Cabell a NIL package. His offer was strictly for a scholarship and he was initially OK with it.

Sounds like Vandy came in with a nice NIL deal and he's expected to take it.

Best of luck to him.

Are we pretty solid with keeping most everyone or is anyone shaky? In the middle of completely remodeling my master bath and doing all the work myself so I haven’t kept up

BOL says we are keeping everyone but JJ Finch, Owen Cabell, Javari Barnett and Brian Williams.

All 3-star guys.

I’m definitely ok with shedding the guys we’ve shed. If they are 3 stars then you aren’t going to likely play early so I’d rather get a developed portal guy.

And if they’re 3 stars leaving for Vandy, Illinois, or Auburn and it’s for NiL reasons like…cool. Go get your money

They’re dropping bags on 3 stars

Finch is the only one that I believe our staff didn't want to lose. They wanted several slots for the portal. They'll have that now after a banner class. Good all the way around.

What about OL? Doesn’t seem like we have any HUGE names there?

So waiting in Sutter and Griffin and possibly the OP from LsU. If they sign that’s everyone except the three expected to flip.

Nice I haven’t followed recruiting at all.

I just noticed Justice Fitzpatrick is committed to UGA. Isn’t that Minkah’s brother? If so, that sucks.

Wonder if there’s a chance to lure Sutraine Perkins to Bama in the portal? He was pretty close to coming here out of high school. Lane convinced him to go to Ole Miss, and he’s been critical of Lane leaving on Twitter, so not likely going to LSU.

He’s draft eligible, but I haven’t seen him on any 1st round mocks

We are going to have to bring in a lot of transfers.

I think that’s the way to do it. Sign 21-25 HE kids and then bring in quality transfers while the young guys get their bearings. Save big money for transfers who are worth it and only give big dollars to can’t miss HS kids

Well, Penn St, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Florida, and a whole bunch of other jobs opened up with teams full of kids that might want to go to more of a sure thing.

FSU has a lame duck coach for next year. Michigan has some interesting rumors happening right now too.

That’s on top of the normal transfers we see in years where there weren’t major openings. If ever there were a year to go portal hunting this might be it.

Alabama just signed 2 that are ranked higher than him, one ranked #1, according to 247sports.
