I mean this is just crazy.

Land Dean, Thibs, Sopsher, Neal and Sanders?

We'd have like +10 5-star level talent. Are we dreaming? Is this real life?

This pair of flips timing seems to coincide nicely with Tua losing the Heisman and Webb's choice. It would make sense that we encouraged them to go public to keep momentum.

Gonna be some serious DB talent in that secondary next few years

I conceded Webb to UGA long ago. His actions just seem to say he doesn't want to come to Bama and I respect that of him. Good luck to him.

Carter is such a huge get. I dont care what they rate him. 5-star pure CB, serious talent and playmaker.

If the 247 rankings hold serve Carter will be a 5-star for them. He's ranked #29 overall right now and they put out 32 5-stars in each class.

Apparently his issue is with Rivals because he didn't attend any of the Rivals Camp Series events. If true that's petty as frick of Rivals IMO.

I can't say for certain but I believe the staff has been prepared for it. I think that's why they took Dalcourt's commitment because they're both Centers (no matter how much Webb believes the lies Kirby sells him that he's going to play Guard).

I just can't believe today man. We are probably going to have these kids brawling trying to secure these final spots.

I really wanted Webb, but it really started to look like he wanted to find a reason not to go to Bama. I hope he has a great career and I wish him the best. Can't be mad at a kid just because he didn't go to the school you wanted him to go to.

Saban will make room. He’ll ‘trim the fat’ soon, and some lower rated players will de-commit and move on. I’m perfectly fine with that, you gotta be the best to be here, Saban ain’t worried about no one’s feelings.

This is pathetic.

I mentor some kids and try to give advice (not a handler nor will I ever want to be!) to parents on how to get their kids exposure, workout facilities, camps, etc. It's sad that these things cost so much and if a kid doesn't attend theirs.. they punish them by not properly evaluating their film.

They did the same nonsense with Barmore last year. Saying he had exemplary size and fantastic film but because he didn't pay them to camp they have to rank him low.

It's a shame.

For both Carter AND Daxton (since I was on my phone earlier and couldn't find the emojis)!

Awesome recruiting day! RTR!!!

The problem is we don't have a lot of "fat" in this class right now. Everyone but the kicker is at least a 4-star.

If it were me making the decisions I'd probably jettison Keilan Robinson.

So we looking at possibly six 5-Stars this cycle?
Thibadeaux
Quick
Dax
Trey Sanders
Alfano
And Maybe Carter bumps up when they re-rank

Missing anyone now?

I really want Webb too but I think some of that has to do with him being from Bama.

I hate to lose a home state kid to a rival - especially one as talented as Webb, but if he was from Texas I would have a hard time choosing between him, Neal and Wright. And we can’t get all of them.

For better or worse (obviously better) Saban doesn’t view recruiting relative to state lines. Nevertheless, next years class will be Alabama kids heavy.

I'd venture we lose at least one between Christian Williams and Turnage. Turnage is on campus right now so I assume Williams is out.

Agreed. Of the two, I'd prefer to keep Turnage. Had a monster senior season. Looks like such a fluid athlete. Williams is good, too. But IMO, Turnage is a notch above. L8U might get Williams now.

Hellams
Turnage
Dax
Carter

Those four to go along with that incredible DB class last year. Love it!

It's the world we live in my man.

Hell, ESPN blatantly ranks kids higher if they are playing in the Under Armour game.

They have Pierce Quick ranked #4 overall.

I agree. Turnage is the better player.

Now Cap is going to be pissed at me.
