Alabama is hot on the trail of Ohio State commit Jordan Battle...
“I wasn’t really worried about it,” Battle told 247Sports’ Luke Stampini of his reaction to the news about Meyer. “Of course I’m just worried about getting this state championship right now, so I’m going to have to worry about that after my state championship game on Friday.” ...

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG and 2020 Ohio State commitment LINK ]Lejond Cavazos had decommitted. Cavazos announced his decision on his Twitter account. Cavazos and his father CJ Cavazos go way back with Urban Meyer who retired today effective after the Rose Bowl.
However, sources have told Bucknuts that Cavazos will continue to consider Ohio State moving forward. Cavazos has been drawing recruiting interest from Georgia, Alabama, Oregon and others.
Lejond was going to visit both Alabama and Georgia during this past football season as word circulated that Meyer could possibly step down. However, both visits were postponed.
The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs have continued to stay in contact with Lejond throughout the season and Tide coach Nick Saban stopped at IMG on Tuesday.
Those two visits will be rescheduled and Lejond will likely make visits to other schools as well, but he will also definitely continue to consider the Buckeyes.

The 6-foot-0 and 190-pound Lejond, who was having an outstanding junior season, is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the country’s No. 183 overall prospect, the No. 9 safety, and the No. 30 prospect in Florida.
Urban Meyer and his staff currently have 15 class of 2019 verbal commitments. The 15 are quarterback Dwan Mathis, running backs Steele Chambers and Marcus Crowley, wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Jameson Williams, tight end and H-back Cormontae Hamilton, offensive linemen Harry Miller, Doug Nester and Ryan Jacoby, defensive end Noah Potter, linebacker Cade Stover, defensive back Jordan Battle, safety/athletes Ronnie Hickman and Bryson Shaw, and athlete Craig Young. It is a class that is currently ranked No. 12 in the country in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings.
With Cavazos’ decision the Buckeyes now have six class of 2020 commitments. The six are quarterback Jack Miller, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, running back Darvon Hubbard, offensive tackles Paris Johnson and Jake Wray and center/guard Luke Wypler. It is a class that was ranked No. 2 in the country in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, but has now dropped to No. 4.

Locksley leaves it's going to leave a huge dent in our DMV recruiting,we were literally taking it over recently. With Meyer quitting it would be a slam dunk. Can we get Azaar back? Please.
Josh Gattis has contacts there. And recruited the area for Penn State.

Gattis is the one I'm most concerned about leaving. Hopefully the promotion he gets keeps him here.

I don’t but someone retweeted Keilan Robinson saying “Let the games begin” couple minutes after the tweet of Locks getting the job

And Rakim Jarrett is tweeting that he doesn’t know where he is going and retweeting the link of the Locks announcement. Of course, Maryland of coming out of the woodwork know. I didn’t even know that Twitter had a turtle icon.

UGA people are confident they have made a move with Darnell Wright, and now he just scheduled an OV there.

If Keilan Robinson flips to Maryland, his spot can go to Deondrick Glass. He wants it and he'd be an upgrade, imo.
