From LSU poster on the rant:

quote:
ETA: Also, Tua doesn't "throw dimes". His receivers are open enough to adjust to the ball while it's in the air. The thing Tua is good at is not over-throwing receivers, and I think that's because he doesn't have a strong arm, he puts everything he has into those throws, he doesn't have to place the throw, which is harder to do. I think he has enough time in the pocket to let the WR get to his throwing limit and he chunks it. He under-throws A LOT, you just can't tell because the receivers have enough room to adjust.

It's really kind of amazing that so many of these people managed to survive to adulthood.

I've been trying to tell folks that there is a new type of brain eating amoeba in Louisiana, and it never leaves on a full stomach.

Can't wait to see how Bama closes out this class.

So are all our guys waiting until early NSD now? Be nice to get a guy or two between now and then just to have some real recruiting news to talk about.

Also, who are our current commits that are unlikely to sign with us at this point?

How did Scott Frost mess this recruitment up? I'm happy for Kentucky, but Nebraska has to be sick.

Wow. Contrary to to popular (around here) belief, this didn't just happen overnight. Kentucky didn't come out of nowhere.

Before Robinson was considered a lock for Nebraska, and he was just a few days ago, he was considered a lock for Kentucky. He actually considered (and filmed commitment videos 2 months ago for) Nebraska, UK, OSU, Purdue, Alabama and Michigan.

I realize that you pompous jerks can't imagine why a player would pick his 7-1 hometown team over a 2-6 (Thank Goodness the Akron game was canceled) team in the middle of nowhere. It must be money!!!

But hey, you used to be a great program and you beat the crap out of Bethune Cookman. Welcome to being Indiana basketball and enjoy your sour grapes.

I've never seen fans of such a crappy team act so aloof before. Well, not since they ran Bo Pelini out of town because his 9 and 10 win seasons weren't good enough.

Nebraska used to be an elite program. Now you lose recruits to Kentucky and blame it on shady dealings.

Sad.

A Kentucky fan came down from the rafters on a Nebraska forum. I wonder if it was Belle

I didn't notice it was Tiger Rant until after I posted. I assumed that was an SEC Rant thread when I clicked on the link posted in here. I think I'll be a'ight. All I said was that he seemed very certain about his analysis, that Bama is favored by 14.5, and then asked him "So how much are you betting on LSU?"

I think a couple might commit during or right after their November visits -- maybe Neal and Sanders.

Their Cajun Savior, Drew Brees, has spoken
quote:

“I could not be more impressed because just in the times I’ve seen him play, it’s not like he’s just throwing it to really good athletes with a ton of space and they’re just running and making plays,” Brees said, according to NOLA.com. “I mean, he’s making some legit throws down the field. He’s making some legit reads, just from what I’ve seen.

quote:

“So, I couldn’t be more impressed. Especially, if you go from his first game last year coming in in the middle of the national championship -- are you kidding me? -- and playing the way that he did. Obviously, he’s throwing the ball exceptionally well. He appears to be a great athlete. They appear to be doing a lot of that RPO stuff with him pulling it and running it. He runs physical. He runs tough. Yet, he can spin it down the field. That’s a rare combination.
