"A cornerback that really emerged on the camp circuit, he has remained a three-star because the junior tape just didn’t quite do it for us. His senior tape is a totally different animal," Simmons wrote last month. "The LSU commit is now a Top247 four-star because of what he’s put on senior tape. He’s very instinctive and sees route-combinations really naturally, his acceleration to the football flashes and he brings a ton of physicality in a slighter frame."

Banks doesn't have a mid-season highlight reel so here are the individual game links for his Senior season so far:

Heights

Kingwood

Ridge Point

MacArthur

Westfield

Nimitz

I love all the conspiracy theories and how they totally ignore that we have put a ton of DBs in the NFL. I swear if they had a 5* QB commit (for some inexplicable reason) flip to us they'd be freaking out about how we must have paid him to give up his lifelong dream of being the next Joe Burrow.

LINK ]Where Tide pledge Christian Williams stands with Alabama (BamaOnLine-VIP)

4-star CB/S Christian Williams 6-1/185 AL hudl

Williams' father talked a lot and was very candid. Bottom line: Bama LOCK, just enjoying taking advantage of OVs and attending games, no risk at all of him flipping. LSU, AU and UF are wasting their time and money.

Sylvester Croom was watching Bama practice yesterday, hanging out with Burton Burns.

NFL scouts from the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams also watched practice.

There is a subset of the LSU fan base that is the most delusional group of people in the cfb universe.

I've seen AU and UT posters that are right up there too. Their delusion and envy-hatred of Bama is incredible. I think Bama's Saban era success gives the edge to the LSU subset tho.

Another CB to Bama for Henry To'oto'o -- from 247 national mod Clint Brewster.

These are the same ones excited about Fulmer being back because they think he can rebuild the program to compete again. He might be the final nail in the coffin for the program.

I suggest we call Henry To'oto'o...

Toto, and leave it at that. Tired of reaching for the ' typing his name.

Wasn't Jeffery Carter injured, or an injury concern of some kind ? Thought the staff was worried about something with him early in this cycle. Anybody ?

Was Bobby actually there?

Can't imagine Oregon's ST Coordinator being at a Bama practice when the Ducks have a top 25 matchup Saturday.

Oops, my bad. It was Burton Burns, not Bobby Williams (corrected my post).

Mid-Atlantic Spotlight: Five prospects on the rise

Antonio Alfano

The fact that Alfano is on this list should come as no surprise to anybody that has been following him or what has been written about him on on Rivals.com lately. The Alabama commit is having a truly dominant season.

Alfano’s strength and technique are excellent but the thing that has made him unstoppable this year has been his quickness at the snap. He is in the backfield before the offense knows what to do and by the time they figure it out it’s too late. It generally doesn’t matter if an offensive lineman can get a hand on Alfano or not. That speed combined with his strength and leverage helps him gets passed offensive linemen with ease. Alfano will remain a regular on lists like these as long as remains consistent on and off the field.

Everyone keeps saying he has "off the field" issues, yet no one ever mentions what they are.

My initial thought:

No wonder his Special Teams were so inconsistent, he'd be at other team's practices

Saban: Bobby, we need you to be coaching special teams at practice
Williams: I am Nick?
Saban: OUR practice Bobby!

I saw it mentioned a couple of times months ago. I suppose his senior season playing has helped reduce those concerns a lot.

They are believing and using logic. Vol Fourm

quote:

Tua nor his family were happy about how the QB competition was handled dating back to last season. There could be some some thoughts about it happening again with Taulia and Tyson. Especially with the Great Grandson of their former Legend HC, who has a statue in his honor. Not to mention the power Paul Bryant JR has. Paul's Dad, Marc is Bryant jr's nephew and helps run one of his businesses. And Bryant bank is heavily involved with Trustee's and most things that involve the. University of Alabama. Taulia and his family may not want any part of that potential situation in a few yrs. Not sure that won't lead to some drama and problem's once that QB battle starts. Ala definitely don't want to piss off Paul Bryant Jr and the power he has. He was the one behind USB shutting down their Football Program a few yrs back. I can Definitely see why Taulia and his family are exploring and keeping their options open. Paul Tyson has mentioned he wants to go the school where he's the the #1 QB. It's far from a guarantee that Taulia signs with Ala, but will still believe it when I see it. Paul Tyson's connections go much further than the Tagovailoa's or anyone else's. Plus Tyson has just as much talent and potential as Taulia or anyone else they bring in for the QB competition.

UT is back, baby. Now gonna flip several big name recruits they want -- Taulia, Owen Pappoe, Kenyatta Watson II, George Pickens, Bill Norton, Charles Moore... And Darnell Wright is a 100% Vol lock.
