I'm hearing lots of good things about Demarco Hellams as a prospect. Think we made a superb evaluation there. Someone close to the program saying he's now considered (by our staff) a much better overall prospect than his teammate, Cross. Just FYI.

Just saw a guy walking around downtownish Prattville with his wife, an airforce shirt and a knee support thing and thought about yelling "TideSaint!" but figured that in the off chance it was actually you, you'd probably be more freaked out than anything.

I was in San Fran a few years ago grabbing lunch at a Whole Foods when I realized Rob Schneider was standing in line in front of me.
(This guy that says "you can do it" in all of Sandlers movies)
Anyhow, he was trying to check out, but his credit card was declined. A conversation along the lines of "get your manager" took place, and the cashier left to go get the manager.
Meanwhile, (this is downtown San Fran so this place is packed) all the folks in the line are getting impatient, and looking to see what the hold up is.
Then you start to hear all the "that's Rob Schneider" whispers. Cell phones come out etc...
Well this kid comes back with like three superiors, and it really becomes a bit of a shite show at the register, and at the height of it all I really, really, wanted to scream "You Can Do It!."
No idea if the entire place would have erupted in laughter, or if I would have embarrassed myself due to receiving nothing but ugly looks, but I've wondered since if I missed an opportunity for comedic gold.

That's hilarious.
I think I'd beat myself up forever by not doing it but I'm not sure that I would have had the balls to actually pull the trigger.

ETA: We did eat lunch at Seafood Bistro after church. I love going to Montgomery a day after Auburn loses. Their fans look so miserable.

My gf actually went down to the Gump to visit her grandparents. They are all Auburn fans and normally pretty cool about it (even bought me a few Bama hoodies for Christmas a few times), but I have a feeling that they didn't want me to come over and talk football

Auburn fans are so in your face when theyre winning. When theyre losing they wont neven bring up their team.
