He is going to catch some arse down here for that .

Some sorority girl is going be like, "Oh my god, I thought it was so cute and sweet the way you let your sister and cousin do your make-up on video. I like a guy who is secure in his masculinity. Some of my sisters and I were planning on having a lingerie modeling, bootying shaking contest. We can get you some weed and you can come over a judge if you want. That video was just so adorable."

This one is a guy that I can't wait to see on campus. Fifth star or not, he projects well into the NFL.

Did anyone watch Taulia's highlights from two pages ago? Does he not remind you of a right-handed Tua?

ACC Spotlight: Top remaining targets for each team

quote:

The opening of the Early Signing Period is just three months away, which means it is crunch time for programs across the country. In the ACC, there are schools hoping to put finishing touches on their classes, while others need to kick it in gear to sign respectable numbers. This week we look throughout the conference and identify the top target remaining for each program.

Again, I'll post the ones relevant to us.

CLEMSON - Clay Webb

Last cycle saw Clemson pull a shocker of sorts when it reached into Ohio and snatched five-star tackle Jackson Carmen from underneath Ohio State’s nose. Now, the Tigers will attempt to accomplish a similar feat by snagging Webb, an Alabama-based prospect, from the Crimson Tide. The Tigers have some work left to do, who is thought to favor Alabama, and even Georgia, as things stand now, but that doesn’t mean Clemson is out of the running. Dabo Swinney and company remain in the thick of Webb’s recruitment and have a legit chance to shock Nick Saban by making a late move. This is a situation to monitor, as there is no doubt that the Tigers will apply the full-court press down the stretch.

FLORIDA STATE - Kayvon Thibodeaux

Florida State is off to an uneven start under new head coach Willie Taggart, and its recruiting has suffered because of it. The Seminoles boast a highly regarded class and are in the thick of things for California-based five-star Kayvon Thibodeaux. The Seminoles are charged with the task of beating out hometown USC, but it’s not as though the Trojans are lighting the world on fire on the field this fall. The Trojans’ rocky start may play in the favor of FSU, but Alabama is also lurking on the periphery. As things stand now, Florida State seems to hold a slight edge here and will be well served by a strong finish to the 2018 season.

Yep.

Watch Taulia Tagovailoa Put in Work on the Ground and in the Air.

Taulia Tagovailoa put up a pretty impressive performance last week and Touchdown Alabama Magazine was there to capture it all. He went 25-of-48, for 350 yards and 4 touchdowns versus Tuscaloosa County.

Hopefully Sopsher looks at the development of Quinnen Williams this year and decides Bama suits him best.

Ive seen a few mocks with Quinnen Williams going in the 1st Rd. I don't see him leaving as a RS Sophmore, but he's been downright dominant in the middle this year

PFF Breakout Stars

Hopefully the link works. Quinnen is their #1 breakout star this year and highest rated DL and Deionte is #2.

Would be the ones that would cause some concern. We have guys on the west coast we may have in a holding pattern and these, at least Sopsher we are holding a spot for may cost us someone else. If LSU finishes 10-2 which is a very good chance I think he stays home.

Keenan's picked up big offers early in his recruitment

quote:

UAB offered first just a few days after the freshman season of Tim Kennan ended. He waited a few months later before receiving offer No. 2. Louisville offered the 6-foot-2, 290 pound defensive tackle in the 2021 class in April.

South Carolina was next to pull the trigger later in the spring. It was a big summer for the sophomore out of Birmingham (Ala.) Ramsay. He added an offer from Alabama after impressing the staff in Tuscaloosa at camp.

The Crimson Tide offer was a big one with it being an in-state school.

“To get the offer from Alabama was like a blessing,” said Keenan. “I trusted my coaches and my trainer and they equipped me with the tools to go out and perform. I felt comfortable out there and I felt grateful and honored to get it.

“I got it after the camp and coach Nick Saban talked to me about it after camp. He told me that I was different as a young guy and that is why they offered. He talked about my first step off the ball, how explosive I am and he feels I would have an opportunity to play there.”

Could Auburn be next? Keenan was on the Plains for the LSU game and the Tigers have their eye on him.

“They like me and they said they will be pursuing, so Auburn is watching me this season. They want me back up there and they like me a lot, so we will see if they offer.”

Keenan does not know much about Louisville or South Carolina yet. He may visit Baton Rouge this weekend with LSU offering earlier this month. He is just taking the recruiting process slow. He knows he has plenty of time to find the right place for him.

“I am putting it all in God’s hands,” said Kennan. “I am just putting this all in His hands and letting Him lead me.

“I liked Alabama and Auburn some too growing up, but I am really just a football fan.

“In due time I will have a top school, but I am not there right now. I am just putting all of this in God’s hands.”

Wiltfong on why he CB'd Wandale Robinson to Ohio State:

quote:

Flipped my 247Sports Crystal Ball to Ohio State for Frankfort (Ky.) Western Hills Top247 all-purpose back Wandale Robinson who says he'll take his final official visit to Columbus next weekend.

This will be Robinson's fourth trip to Ohio State in the last six months and second game.

A source close to the situation believes that the Buckeyes and Kentucky are in the best position to land the four-star talent. Robinson is also fresh off an official to Alabama, his third trip to Tuscaloosa in the same time frame as those OSU trips.

As a junior, Robinson rushed for 2,330 yards and 33 touchdowns, averaging 13.2 yards per carry. That was coming off a sophomore season of 2,014 yards and 28 scores. In four games as a senior he’s averaged 11.5 yards per carry for 813 yards and nine scores. He also has 223 yards receiving and four scores, Then there is the two punts he’s return for scores.

A decision would be expected soon after the OSU visit for Robinson who is also considering Alabama, Purdue and Nebraska. Ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 3 all-purpose back, Robinson is a priority recruit for Urban Meyer and company.

This completely contradicts what the OSU mod said yesterday. He said he believes it comes down to Alabama and Nebraska.

Which uncommitted 5-stars could Alabama still land?

quote:

Kayvon Thibodeaux -- the nation's No. 1 prospect, according to the 247sports Composite Rankings -- officially visited Alabama over the weekend.

The trip to Tuscaloosa for Alabama's beatdown of Texas A&M apparently went well, based on Thibodeaux's social media activity.

Thibodeaux is one of 10 remaining uncommitted 5-star prospects in the Class of 2019, and Alabama's class -- currently ranked No. 3 nationally -- includes only one 5-star prospect, Hewitt-Trussville offensive lineman Pierce Quick, among its 21 commitments.

Let's take a quick look at the remaining uncommitted 5-star players and Alabama's chances of landing them:

The 3 most likely

Clay Webb

Position: Offensive line
Ht./Wt: 6-3, 295
High school: Oxford
The skinny: The state's No. 1 prospect said he's still considering Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia, and he's one of the top remaining targets for the Crimson Tide. It'd be a mild surprise if Alabama doesn't get him, but he doesn't plan to make his commitment public until just before December's signing date.
