Trust me I'm stoked, I think he's the last piece of our WR puzzle that we need. Reason why I said that is because I stated a few months back that the duo with Bo nix and Pickens was going to give folks headaches and everyone said not to worry that Pickens will go the junior college route. I'm glad nobody cares what I think lol. I hope we nab him especially after missing on Justyn Ross. I'm all in

Hank: "I'm told there's a chance 5-star ATH Quavaris Crouch could be added to the visitors list this weekend. It's not officially set up yet, but could be later today. He was expected at Tennessee this weekend, but that is no longer the case. Don't be surprised to see him get added to Alabama's list. Again, not officially set up. Was told it's "50/50" on whether he makes it right now."

I want QC to visit bad. He has always been my I hope he comes out of nowhere and commmits to us choice.
If Pickens flips to us and doesn't qualify in the end, I'm going to crap a hammer.

I'd not be super-duper happy but to be honest I would still be happy if he stayed committed and went prep/juco and ended up at Bama. We really don't have a huge need for him next year but would thereafter.

I just want Bama to be very cautious -- don't let guys who are qualifying risks sign an NLI until they've been cleared by the NCAA, so we won't lose the signing limit spots if they don't qualify.

Ishmael Sopsher is visiting next weekend for the UL-Lafayette game.

Glad he is coming, but kinda of a “bum” game to come to .

My concern with Crouch is no one knows what going on. His team won the state last year and HC left which was a surprise. The new HC was interviewed in August and he talked about he has 8 D1 level players on the team including the #1 in the state Crouch. They are currently 0-5 and Crouch has been out with an injury. Apparently some turmoil internally and the team only dressed out 27 of the 60 players on the roster when they got destroyed again last week. Also supposedly Crouch who is injured was not there on the sidelines and rumors swirling he has left the team.

Good. Easier opponent and not as many other recruits on hand -- he can get more attention.

It is a decent size school to with like 1800 students but trying to find out now the issue. They have been getting beat bad. In their 0-5 record they have been outscored 232-50.

Keep us posted on what else you hear.
UTs side has been very confident but he has yet to schedule a OV with them and it looks like he will not even though there is a lot of picks of him in UT gear. Currently his OVs he is setting up are UA, UM, Clemson, USCw, and FSU. USCw is a free trip and I believe UM may be as well but Harbough you never know with kids. Hopefully FSU does not look so appealing. And yet CU he apparently has not had a lot of contact with lately.
UT fans seem to think distance is why he does not set up an OV with them but UT is still 4 hours away and Clemson is like a 1.5 away.

One another note on Crouch and take it for what its worth because I am getting info mostly third hand. If he has left his HS team or not he seems to be focusing on college right now and his future. He also knows defense is where it will be for him which seems we may be the only team recruiting him for LB only and he is a freak like Moses and can play any LB position in college. Even though he ran for over 3200yds last year in HS and 33 TDs wanted to focus on playing LB this season not RB as much. When asked why he wanted to play LB because he likes hitting(tackling)people.
He does not fall for the smoke and mirrors that some programs try to sell him and I have heard Pruitt and a few others are doing that. He likes coaches that are straight forward and who he feels he can trust. He does not like being in the limelight and is very quiet why yo do hear a lot of interviews with him. He is also very religious so I hope he hangs with Tua.
He may be ready to commit to a program sooner then later so we may want to keep an I on how this visit goes. He is not currently an EE but they may change now as well.

Sup Baws! Been a while since I stopped by over here.
Good lookin' list for this weekend. I'm excited to watch this one... not because I have any doubts that you'll win, but curious to see whether A&M is significantly improved or if Clemson has taken a step back (as it seemed), or some combination. From what I've seen on the field thus far, the Tide offense is a damn well oiled machine... As a dawg fan, certainly would appreciate seeing a chink in the armor there, but right now, all I can say is it's impressive.
How's the general consensus for Bama's standing with Dean/Webb. From that list, pretty sure those are the only 2 we've been heavily involved with. I saw the CB update from Wiltfong for Webb, but give that dude zero attention until we're about a month out from signing day... and even then take him with a grain of salt. I know some of our insiders had felt good about Dean for a while, but tricky one to read and haven't seen a recent update with regards to our standing.

2017 Bama signee LaBryan Ray was like that. My son was his position coach in HS and they were close, but LaBryan did not discuss his recruiting status with anyone but his father (widower).
