To celebrate my 25,000 post. I will post good luck gifs. How can someone post 25,000 times and only 1% of those posts be informative. I did it, somehow
The first is my new Tua gif

There's an article on BOL saying that a 4-star DL will see Bama twice in September. Do we have any guesses as to who it is?

Having seen the in-state QBs a few times over the last year or so, and then again since Friday night, I stand by what I posted months ago.
Nix is a very good QB prospect. He'll probably be a good college QB. I don't base this on the game today. Hoover will make a lot of HS QBs look far more pedestrian than they really are. I am not sure if he's special. But a very good prospect, nonetheless.
But Taulia is at another level. I don't care who had the higher graded Elite 11 (Which VERY rarely is a good predictor of success in college). He's one of the best HS QBs I've ever seen. In-state or not. We can discuss the differences between Tua and Taulia all you want, but the "it" factor is there for both of them in spades. The game slows down for them out there compared to other QBs. Both have amazing arms, and make excellent, quick decisions most of the time.
Tyson has made good strides with arm strength since last year, IMO. I wish he had more nimble feet. But he's a solid QB prospect now. I don't think he's as distant of a 3rd in this group as he was last year. Good upside as a passer.

The Elite II doesnt mean too much. I cannot believe we have Tua and his little brother coming next. The game manager days are over.

His QB reminds me of mine my soph and junior year in college.
Refuses to throw the ball to the key players... then wonders why the offense is stalling and the team is struggling.

Billingsley just made a big sack. Very quick off the ball.

Billingsly looked good today. Looked unstoppable. They shouldve fed him more.

LINK ]WATCH: 5-star OL Clay Webb in action Friday night (BOL | embedded video)
quote:
The state of Alabama's top-ranked player in the 2019 class, Clay Webb, has yet to make his college decision. Despite trending to the Crimson Tide for the majority of his recruitment, the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder has continued to mull over Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia, among others.
Webb will likely take official visits throughout the fall before making a his college decision in December and enrolling at his new school in January.
On Friday, Oxford (Ala.) opened the season against at Munford (Ala.) and shut the Lions out 28-0. After playing offensive tackle for the Yellow Jackets to this point in his high school career, Webb now lines up at guard.
“I could do a lot better,” Webb told 247Sports' Keith Niebuhr of his performance on Friday night. “I feel like I didn’t play as fast as I need to. I didn’t shoot my hands like I need to. I didn’t drive my feet like I needed to.”
Neibuhr was on hand for the game and provided his own analysis of the elite offensive lineman.
"Starting at left guard, he produced a number of pancake blocks, showed good body quickness, got to the second level often and displayed some versatility by looking good in pass sets. So while it may not have been, in his words, Webb’s best showing, he nonetheless was solid."
Webb is rated the No. 1 center and the No. 20 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 247Sports Crystal Ball reads in favor of the Crimson Tide just under four months away from a decision.
Check out the highlights above. Webb wears No. 75.

...after seeing Ashford today I really hope we offer soon. He told AU mod Keith Niebuhr yesterday that AU, MSU and UGA were recruiting him the hardest and he’s visited AU the most (3-4 times).
Tim Watts: "Robby has been to UA several times. Very familiar with UA program. Still in the starting stages of his recruitment tho. Yesterday was a day a lot of college coaches were waiting to see."
Ashford had suffered a torn labrum injury sliding into home plate. He wants to play baseball and football. His parents are Bama graduates and his sister is married to Damion Square. I think Bama will probably offer pretty soon.
