If "fun" at UGA is what sells Nakobe and his mom he won't amount to much on the field.

It's hard to recall the finer points but i do know the interview(s) were definitely after visits to alabama, georgia and maybe ole miss?
He and mom (or maybe it was just mom) babbled about how georgia made the visit really fun with a scavenger hunt and shite like that. And they both went on to talk about how alabama and saban is all about business and whatever. I'm paraphrasing of course but that was the gist of it.
I don't know if the visits were official or not. I think however the georgia visit was official because of the scavenger hunt thing.
Download the "bama sports radio" app and listen to the interview. You can scroll through, they're easy to find. I guess the interview(s) was a little over a month ago. There's a couple of them.
I recall articles' and posters' accounts of Dean's mom babbling about UGA's scavenger Hunt and how Dean's primary recruiter involved his own children in visits calling Nakobe "Kobe" and how fun, cute and wonderful that stuff is, etc. Their visit to UGA was not an OV and it was prior to their OV to Bama. Their OV to Bama made big strides with Dean's mom/family and Dean, in all areas, especially academics (Bama's Dean of Engineering hit it out of the park) and in Bama not being strictly business. From what I've seen, Bama regained the lead with their OV to Bama.

Sorry gimpy but you seem to be the one that takes offense easily anytime someone questions your posts or who you are. You seem very emotional so maybe you should keep your midol for yourself.
Just a message board and since you seem new to this understand many people will not share your opinion or want some validity when you post what you think is the gospel. Just saying

I need an out the blue Quavaris Crouch commitment to Bama. It would make as much sense as anything else that has happened this recruiting cycle. Plus he can play ILB

Carlton, you should probably update the timelines chart for Devonta Lee. He appears pretty likely to commit to LSU very soon to secure a spot.

You've jogged my memory, it was stuff like that for sure.
But they had visited alabama at that time because they were contrasting and comparing.
In the interview though there was a whole lotta gushing over georgia. It was annoying.

I'm not going to be heart-broken if Dean goes elsewhere, and I dont see why anyone else would be either.
He is a bit underwhelming for a No.1 ILB IMO.
He is 6', and runs a 4.7 forty ? I understand he supposedly has a lot going on between the ears, but those numbers do not usually accompany a No. 1 ILB in the country.
Meh, we get'em great, but if not, sleep lose I will not.

You know on the subject of nakobe dean, i'll tell you what i seem to notice with alot of these ultra elite recruits.
Although i do believe alabama is a good fit for nakobe dean, i get the sense he would rather be a big fish in a medium sized pond with lots of medium sized fish, than a big fish in a big pond with lots of big fish. This is sorta why i think he goes someplace other than bammie.
We've seen that before. The one that comes to mind right now is leonard fournette.

Saint, it's a mad house around here, we are gonna need an appearance from drunk Saint before the season starts. He needs to go fire and brimstone and get everyone focused and on the same page

Then you are absolutely wrong.
If that were the case he would be looking hard at Ole Miss or Mississippi State, not Alabama, Georgia and Florida State.

FSU isn't a "big pond". That's a broken football team with an underwhelming headcoach and i knew someone would bring up georgia.
Well georgia's not a big pond either as far as i'm concerned. Until i see otherwise, georgia is the same high recruiting snakebit team we all watched under mark richt.
