When I was a kid, there weren't many of them in my area. Now I see the big bastards almost every day.

Video shows Terrell Lewis lifting leg days after ACL surgery
I remember back when I tore my ACL in 2011 I could barely move my leg, let alone get close to lifting it like that. That man is going to try to play this year....

That’s great but I’ll get excited when he is showing real flexion in that knee. He is a long way from playing and I doubt it happens this year.

I wonder where the activity on this thread/board ranks on tRant in general? I've been to other team boards and most are pretty dead. For instance, the only posts in nearly a month on the Kentucky board were by two Arkansas fans.
The fact that this thread alone has 10k posts is amazing.

I'm in the minority but he just needs to sit out and go to the draft imo...

He has two years of eligibility left. He has less than two games of film to break down.

Jermaine Burton will be at the Champions Cookout: Part Deux later this month.

So you telling me you don't thinking is a day one or day two guy?
Posted on 7/15/18 at 10:08 pm to Tide or Die87
I don't believe teams will take a chance on him day 1 or day 2. He hasn't proven that he can stay healthy. I believe he needs to at least put one year together before he goes.

If he goes after this year it will be around the 4th round or later. It makes zero sense to do that when he has the opportunity to come back and be a 1st or 2nd rounder in 2020.

Michael Wyman is a Name to Know in the 2020 Recruiting Class.
quote:
2020 wide receiver, Michael Wyman, has made a name for himself on the recruiting trail and it will not be a surprise if he gets an offer from Alabama.
Wyman is a 4-Star prospect out of Greensboro, North Carolina. He is ranked as the No.29 wide receiver in the 2020 recruiting class. He currently holds a total of 20 offer. Seven of those are from SEC schools.
“I embrace the opportunity to play football at the next level and beyond,” Wyman said.
Wyman wants success on and off the field. A strong support system has aided him throughout his football career.
“God, my mom, my family and myself are my key motivations,” Wyman added.
On the field, Wyman is known for his size and sure hands. He stands at 6-feet-4 inches and weighs 195 pounds. His size gives him the ability to bully smaller defensive backs as well as take hits from linebackers.
He models his game after former Western Michigan and Tennessee Titan wide receiver, Corey Davis. Davis wrapped up his collegiate career with three 1,000 receiving yard seasons and caught 19 touchdowns during his senior season. If Wyman could have similar success to Davis at the next level, he will have his name call in the 2022 or 2023 NFL draft.
Alabama has one wide receiver commit in their 2020 recruiting class, which is 4-Star, Dazalin Worsham. Wyman could give the Tide a different look at wideout if they begin to show interest.

He would definitely slide. Being a mid first round pick vs a mid 3rd round pick would likely cost him 8-10 million in guaranteed money.
He has a strong season next year and he has a good chance of being a first rounder. He comes out after this season, I can't see him being any higher than a 3rd.
I think his biggest issue is as TideSaint said earlier he only has 2 game tapes. If he had a season or two worth of good film, he may have been able to sit out and still be a late 1st early second.

Hold On, They’re Coming
quote:
Alabama currently has an impressive class, which is ranked No.1 in the nation but some are still wondering why the Tide haven’t landed more 5-Star recruits.
First off, Alabama currently has a ton of talented commits. There is a reason why they are currently ranked No.1. They have landed some of the top 4-Star recruits in the nation. Every commit except one is either ranked as a 4 or 5-Star. 2019 kicker, Will Reichard, is their only 3-Star commit, which is a considerably high rank for a kicker.
It is also important to note that the Tide do have one 5-Star commit. It is their proven leader and one of their top recruiters, Pierce Quick. This class is pretty stacked at the moment and if the Tide does not land another commit, which is a 100 percent unlikely, this class will not be a huge disappointment.
Fortunately, the Tide is on track to land multiple 5-Star guys. This class has a chance to land the most 5-Star commits under Saban. Here are the 5-Star recruits Alabama is currently in a good position to land.

Clay Webb
Webb is the top center in the nation. He is arguably Alabama’s top Target at the moment. The Tide is currently in a good position with him and currently holds a verbal commitment from one of his best friends, Pierce Quick.

Kayvon Thibideaux
Thibideaux is the No.1 recruit in the nation. He is a complete freak of nature. He is one of the few guys in this talented class that has a chance to play early and often no matter where he goes. Alabama was able to get him on campus this summer, which was huge. He has expressed that Alabama will receive an official visit this Fall and included them in his top 5.

Nakobe Dean
Dean has been on Alabama’s radar for quite some time. He is a 5-Star linebacker that has the ability to play both inside and outside. He took his official visit to Tuscaloosa on June 15-17. He got a chance to tour Alabama’s engineering department and spend time with the University of Alabama’s dean of engineering. He expressed to yours truly it was the best engineering tour he ever been on.

Faatui Tuitele
Tuitele released a top 5 that included the Tide. He currently attends the former high school of Alabama quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, and Alabama commit, Taulia Tagovailoa. Alabama has used that connection to appeal to Faatui. Another plus is the Tuitele family has a good relationship with the Tagovailoas. Fortunately, Alabama was able to get Tuitele back on campus this Summer as he also attended their annual Champion’s Cook-Out.

Darnell Wright
Wright is the top offensive tackle in this class. He along with Webb could help the Tide pull in the best offensive lineman class Saban has ever pulled in according to recruiting rankings. Alabama’s coaching staff has recruited this guy heavily and have shown him they want him in Tuscaloosa. He even rode in the car with Saban on A-Day.
