You guys want some fun reading, go read the bagman thread on the LSU recruiting page. Wow
I would believe that it's true. Some of them are acting like it's only Alabama that does it but a lot are saying they believe everyone does it. The ones that think we're the only ones doing it are delusional. College football is too much of a money maker for people to not cut corners or find ways around the rules.

IMO Keilan Robinson got his spot.

Yep. Makes no sense to take Wandale Robinson, with higher priority needs and so few spots left.
We just took Waddle (slot), Bolden (slot/APB) and Ford (RB/APB) in the 2018 class.
Wandale should choose Kentucky, imo. He'd get to play early and be a featured player there.

I wanna imagine Neal as DJ Fluker, but with more time at OT and better coaching at IMG.
Fluker was massively talented hoss, but he started much too late on becoming a legit OT in HS.
Imagine if he would have had 3-4 more years in on footwork and technique...

WATCH: Tide commit Kevin Harris' reps from The Opening
Don't tell Kayvon Thibodeaux that.
quote:
Four-star weak-side defensive end Kevin Harris chose Alabama over Miami and LSU in early May and hasn't looked back since.
The Loganville (Ga.) Grayson product spent a week in Tuscaloosa last month and will return to campus this fall for an official visit.
The future Tide Jack linebacker competed at The Opening Finals earlier this month in Frisco, Texas and was considered one of the top performers among the Alabama commitments in attendance at the event.
Here's what 247Sports Director of Scouting Barton Simmons had to say about the edge rusher:
“He was startling quick off the edge. I felt like his edge speed was evident and really flashed. He wasn’t a guy that won a lot of reps just because offensive linemen were able to run him away from the quarterback. But he’s the type of guy that every single rep, his athleticism flashed. If we were in a real game type setting, he’s flushing the quarterback on every snap. To me, he’s a great example of a guy that didn’t excel in this camp setting, but the traits are all there as he gets stronger and bigger at the next level. His edge speed was scary."
At 6-foot-4, 218 pounds, Harris is rated the No. 6 weak-side defensive end and the No. 93 overall player in the country, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Don't tell Kayvon Thibodeaux that.

After watching the clip above I gotta say I like Harris' motor. He never quits.

Look white linebackers are one thing. I’m all about the cause but rush ends. Count me out.

"Kevin Harris looked amazing out there, and if this were an actual football game he would have harassed the QB on every snap, but we're going to drop him 10 spots in our rankings because reasons."

So you wouldn't take Joey Bosa?

Great quickness, speed and motor. With some Cochran S&C and Tosh technique coaching he'll be a great edge rusher.

I am a big fan of pretty much all white defensive players (retired lineman Justin Smith was my favorite) except for Jason Seahorn, couldn't stand that guy.
ETA: I'm actually probably a fan of all defensive players regardless of race

I do get excited when Alabama has an Asian Cowboy at QB. I want us to win a National Championship with a black QB which technically we have, but well.....we all know what happened.
ETA: I feel I need to clarify this cause I’m getting weird vibes. My dad is a huge Alabama fan and grew up when having a black starting QB was controversial. Because of that he always wanted to see Alabama when a National Title with an African American QB. When we have a player of color who wins the job I get excited because there is a possibility it fulfills one of his dreams.

I mean not as excited as when I see an Asian Cowboy. Is that better?
