We get Lee.
Take M. Wright or Pickens if they want to commit and there is space after targets at other positions decide.
Jameson Williams to Ohio State.

I've seent insiders say Milton Wright wants in, was told to hold off for a while (behind Pickens and Williams) and was OK with doing that.

Correct my misconceptions on Jameson Williams. High end speed I see. In my mind, maybe it is because he is so skinny, I see him as a straight line speed guy. Some people see him like Devonta Smith, but I feel as though Devonta was a better route runner/technique guy coming out of HS school (Williams has another season to develop however).
What I see on tape/interviews with Lee, Metchie, and Wright I feel like they fit seamlessly into the Bama/Gattis culture. Their personalities, how they go about their business and how they talk about picking a school have always made me go, it makes sense why they would pick Bama.
Williams has always seemed different, and I don't mean that in a negative way. It just seems like he would like the culture somewhere else. With me saying that however I do believe he is coming back for an OV so he must like it more than I am giving him credit for at Bama.
I believe I may be clouding my analysis of him.
ETA. Plus Missouri is another state I don't trust for recruiting. Except you Hale Hentges you are a legend before your time. Maybe Coach Kool will change my pessimism.

I have completely changed, I want his commitment now.

This was all a trick to get a kid like Kardell to go out and say stuff on social media so it would disrupt the class we have rolling. If anything I believe this was more a sign of the fact that Bama is threatened and has to resort to things like getting their truly set commits like the little brother Taullia to go out and spread some bullcrap to make the perception of things like us recruiting another higer ranked QB in order to make Parrish think he should look elsewhere. It's actually in my opinion something that makes Bama look like a bunch of back channeling, deceptive bunch of cowards more than anything else. Kardell had to learn a lesson about going forward saying something that maybe he shouldn't have and in the end it's going to be a big pile of nothing because I would rather him beat his chest and pump up LSU and how well we are doing on the trail if recruiting than for him to not be going out there and being who he is. In the end this all amounted to nothing but the clear thought that Bama is having to resort to this low down crap which is even for them a pretty dirty play when it comes down to it. In my mind all I think the nation got told is that Bama is that scared of the way LSU is getting this class put together. If on signing day LSU has got Sopsher along with say a Nakobe Dean or another highly ranked defensive player. Along with the offensive guys that are still out there like Palmer, Ray, Lee, etc... Then you'll see LSU with a top 3 class going into the 2019 season with some serious talent all around. This is all a seriously pathetic attempt to stir up the pot and cause whatever strife it could've from another angle and it was as pitiful as could be. Nice try Tua lite. But you fail....
One comma in the whole script! Yeah, LSU a great place to become a student-athlete.

I hope this is real. This makes him a must get

I agree pretty much. Jameson Williams has said Ohio St is the team to beat, but he's indicated Bama has a legit shot to do that. He's visited Ohio St a few more times and feels at home there. Iirc, he's pretty good friends with fellow St Louis WR Marcus Washington, who appears to be a heavy lean to Ohio St.
ETA: Imo, DeVonta Lee should be a top priority, because he projects so well at several positions WR, S and ILB. His potential at ILB makes it a brainer, imo. We're way too thin there.

I wish that I could fit all of that into a sig quote.

And they don’t even realize how tinfoil hat-ish that is. Idiots.

Alabama commits, targets make moves in latest Top247 Rankings
quote:
247Sports has unveiled its latest updates to the 247Sports Rankings on Thursday. With the changes, Alabama continues to have a commanding lead atop the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.
Here’s a look notable Alabama target and commitments were affected by the rankings shuffle.

Still too low, imho.

Notable commitment movements
Four-star defensive end Antonio Alfano moved up one spot to the No. 44 player in the country and the No. 5 strong-side defensive end. Next in the 247Sports Rankings comes edge rusher Kevin Harris at No. 53 down from the No. 44 spots after The Opening. Despite the drop, 247Sports’ Barton Simmons thought Harris was one of the better performers among the Alabama commits at The Opening: “The traits are all there as he gets stronger and bigger at the next level. His edge speed was scary,” Simmons said. Hewitt-Trussville offensive tackle Pierce Quick dropped just a few spots from 57 to 64 in the country after his performance at The Opening. Quick was unable to strap on shoulder pads at the all-star showcase due to AHSAA high school rules that prohibit shoulder pads in the summer, which limited the reps he could take in Frisco and is reflected by the slight drop.
Oxford (Miss.) Lafayette product Brandon Turnage moved up one spot to 107. The versatile prospect projects in the secondary for the Tide. With Turnage returning for his senior season after missing the majority of his junior year campaign with a foot injury, he could be one we see rise in the rankings. “With his speed, length, and ball skills at corner alone, (Turnage plays several positions for Lafayette) he might just be one of the best corners in this class. I’m excited about what his skillset is, given what we know,” Simmons said of Turnage. In-state cornerback Christian Williams took a slight drop from 98 to 115 after The Opening Finals, which didn’t necessarily showcase his physical style of play in the 7on7 setting. Look for Williams to have a big senior season at Daphne. Four-star outside ‘backer King Mwikuta maintained his spot at 125 as did four-star safety DeMarcco Hellams at 126 and recent Tide defensive line commit Justin Eboigbe at 152. Four-star ‘backer Shane Lee climbed three spots to 175 after a solid showing at The Opening. Four-star defensive end Byron Young climbed seven spots to 178 in the country. We could just be scratching the surface of a big rise for Young too once we see more of him. “We’ve see Byron this spring in person, we just haven’t seen him workout. And in person, he has your dream Alabama defensive line body. He is a really unique kid in terms of physical traits. With him, it’s a matter of getting a comfort level with him and seeing a little more of him. I think he is a potential riser as we dig into the senior season,” Simmons said of Young.
One notable dip was for Alabama’s pair of quarterback commits. Taulia Tagovailoa didn’t have the best of performances at The Opening Finals, but still showed a lot of promise. He went from 150 to 202. Of Tagovailoa, Simmons said after The Opening: “He is a starter quality kid in the SEC. He has a really strong arm, which he showed off in the long ball toss. But, he also has some physical limitations in terms of size.” Tide commit Paul Tyson fell out of the Top247 from 200 to 254. Both signal caller commits are going into their second full seasons as starters for their teams and will certainly continue to be evaluated throughout the fall.

"His inability to participate due to his state's rules for football camps" has got to be the dumbest reasoning I have ever heard for knocking a kid.
