My recommendation is to have Surge make a thread with the rules and explanation if needed and have that thread pinned as a permanent thread. So every time there is a question it can referred to and Surge does not have to repeat it multiple times each week and it would help to always have a reference.

I think there's a better way. This thread has my two consecutive posts that contain the NCAA Bylaws regarding signee and counter limits and how they apply to recruiting. I'll put a link to those two posts in the 1st post in this thread.

That's the same approach already in place for tracking our numbers. The first post itt has a link to last year's recruiting class and numbers and a link to the current 85-man roster and numbers. I keep the roster updated and maintain a timeline of notes documenting all the updates. That's where I track and keep that stuff. Y'all have handy links to all of that in the 1st post in this thread. So, I'll add a link for those NCAA Bylaws posts too.

I've also been careful to include "NCAA Bylaws" in my explanation posts so that a forum search will find them. I'll also note that search ability in the linked post. That way everyone can fairly easily find all the explanation posts too.

Maaaan, this doozy from the LSUrb.

quote:

This was all a trick to get a kid like Kardell to go out and say stuff on social media so it would disrupt the class we have rolling. If anything I believe this was more a sign of the fact that Bama is threatened and has to resort to things like getting their truly set commits like the little brother Taullia to go out and spread some bullcrap to make the perception of things like us recruiting another higer ranked QB in order to make Parrish think he should look elsewhere. It's actually in my opinion something that makes Bama look like a bunch of back channeling, deceptive bunch of cowards more than anything else. Kardell had to learn a lesson about going forward saying something that maybe he shouldn't have and in the end it's going to be a big pile of nothing because I would rather him beat his chest and pump up LSU and how well we are doing on the trail if recruiting than for him to not be going out there and being who he is. In the end this all amounted to nothing but the clear thought that Bama is having to resort to this low down crap which is even for them a pretty dirty play when it comes down to it. In my mind all I think the nation got told is that Bama is that scared of the way LSU is getting this class put together. If on signing day LSU has got Sopsher along with say a Nakobe Dean or another highly ranked defensive player. Along with the offensive guys that are still out there like Palmer, Ray, Lee, etc... Then you'll see LSU with a top 3 class going into the 2019 season with some serious talent all around. This is all a seriously pathetic attempt to stir up the pot and cause whatever strife it could've from another angle and it was as pitiful as could be. Nice try Tua lite. But you fail....

How dare Saban...

Those guy's creatures false narratives then stew about them to the point they're blinded by hatred.

Dshed for something they created in their own mind that isn't near reality.

Just wow.

Taulia and his family are not at all the kind of people who would participate in that kind of BS.

The lunatic shite some people imagine never ceases to amaze and amuse me.

Some of it is kind of scary tho.

A'ight. The next post is a copy of the 1st post in this thread. It's got a handy new link on the top line. The two handy links on the 3rd line provide visibility of 2018 recruiting and roster numbers.

I just now emailed it to TideSaint to update the 1st post itt. It's about 2:20 am now in Korea.

That (along with the six consecutive following losses) would have probably broken me too.

That LSU team had a chance to go down as the greatest ever (on paper versus defeated opponents) and couldn't cross the 50 yard line. What has happened since has done nothing but magnify what a colossal turning point that was for the LSU program, fanbase, school and state.

And it all took place in the home for their beloved Saints.

Looks like the new 247 rankings didn't do our guys many favors.

That was my favorite national championship game ever. The Nd was the least stressful but living here and listening to all of their crap for two months and then blanking them in the national title game was soooo sweeet. Then hearing them whine about it still today does my heart good.

I went through our commits list and clicked on each one. 12 of our 19 commits' 247Composite rankings are higher than their 247 rankings (Cheney too). That means Rivals and/or ESPN rank those 12 higher than 247 does.

ETA: Our class score fell from 287.27 to 286.11

The ND fans in South Beach were the cockiest bunch I've ever seen. That was a sweet victory.
