Yep. He's got one job and he's good at it, but he's a slacker. Come on, Cobrasize. Do.Your.Job.

American Heritage was pretty stacked last year with two 5* Cornerbacks and a lot of other Big 5 talent:

5* CB Patrick Surtain Jr. - Alabama
5* CB Tyson Campbell - Georgia
4* DT Nesta Silvera - Miami
4* DE Andrew Chatfield - Florida
4* WR Anthony Schwartz - Auburn
3* ATH Miles Jones - Nebraska
3* OLB Calvin Hart - NC State

Those SoFla teams always tend to be nasty though.

The Jacksonville Bolles teams from the 90's were stacked. Bama cleaned house from one of their teams that later helped put us on probation. Our very own Reir played on that team.

So in their other 12 games they allowed 39 points total? Dayum.

Other than Surtain, I really want to see what Silvera does out of that group.

My HS team (Grissom in Huntsville) way back in the early 70s only gave up 12 points during the regular season to only one team and our defense scored a TD in every game but that one. We lost that game 12-8. Agile.Mobile.Hostile.

I played our hybrid SS/OLB "monster-man" spot and made all the d-front and 2ndary calls.

We beat Lanier 7-6 in the 1st round playoffs, then got beat in pouring rain on a ridiculously muddy field by Decatur. We had a grind it on the ground ball control offense and couldn't do shite in that mud. They had a great QB and 3 tall incredibly fast D1-level WRs. Beat us bad with five long TD passes. Decatur then beat Butler (the team we had lost to 12-8) for the state title.

How the times have changed! Grissom has been one of the worst football programs I've ever seen over most of the past decade or more.

I just found out about the murder-suicide shooting in Wetumpka on Saturday afternoon.

The guy who did it worked in my office. I can't believe it.

Prayers to that family. That's a terrible situation. If it's the one I read about, they need all the prayers folks can send.
