Anybody have an idea of what the LB board might look like right now with Harris likely headed to Miami for the time being? I know we have King and Lee onboard and Dean is a top priority. With Pappoe a long shot and Brooks going to Louisiana anybody know who we looking at after Dean?
See the 2nd post in this thread.

Anyone have comment on the Texas mods saying LSU leads for Faatui Tuitele? I was under the assumption that his family ties would lead him to Alabama.

Thanks Tidal, I just didn't know if that list was in any particular order. I figured Thibodeaux would be a take regardless of position or need so I figured I'd ask about priority. (I know no one knows Saban's board, except for Kirby with a smartphone.)
@CapstoneGrad6
I like Diabate based only on his interviews. If he is a take, I hope he comes aboard.

I’m glad that my co-worker and their son were wrong about Kight committing early!

Tuitele did some quickie visits on his spring break, including Texas, Oklahoma and LSU. Iirc, Aranda has some Hawaii history.
I just read the Texas mod EJ Holland's blurb. Holland said he was told by "a source familiar with his recruitment" that Tuitele is "considering playing in this part of the country" and if he does LSU has the best chance of pulling him in, followed by Texas and Bama. He said Tuitele really liked a Texas coach. Holland spun all that to then say Texas is "firmly in the mix" and "don't be surprised" if Texas gets an OV in the fall.
Tuitele says very nice things about every place he visits. Imo, UA and USC are the frontrunners. If he chooses to play in the eastern mainland, it'll be Bama, due to family ties and Bama's program.

I try to keep it in order of likelihood of signing with Bama -- considering both priority to Bama and chances of landing them. I moved Kevin Harris up 2 notches early in the week. Harris announces Tuesday, 4:30 pm CT. Miami mods like their chances. Bama mods still like Bama's chances pretty well. Yeah, Dean and Thibodeaux are definitely top priority takes. We're in great shape with Dean. Thibodeaux may be a pretty tough pull against USC. Btw, I like Diabate too.

Look at that picture of him blocking and those arms. Those vines are almost hugging the ground. You can't teach length like that.

Amari Kight's upside is yuge. Tim Watts knows Kight pretty well, as his older son played on his team when Amari was in 9th grade. Tim has seen a lot of THS practices -- says Kight is a great kid in every way, hustler, grinder, OL group leader, can really move for such a big guy and plays with a nasty streak.
He's a "dancing bear" who will maul yo' arse!

7 commits this month, 8 if you count Worsham for 2020.
Probably some silents too. Definitely feel good so far, however any of you recruits want to get a commit in before the end of April, I would not be mad at ya.

Alabama could very well take 8 of the Top 10 in Alabama. Plus Reichard the kicker.

Good article on major commitments over the weekend, but a bit long, so I'm just posting the Bama section.

Alabama continues to climb
Alabama is up to No. 2 in the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings after landing in-state offensive tackle Amari Kight.
The Crimson Tide continue on pace to sign the nation’s top offensive line class as Kight joins five-star Pierce Quick and fellow Top247 recruit Tanner Bowles. The big fish still in play moving forward include two more five-stars in center Clay Webb and tackle Darnell Wright.
With that, no surprise Alabama offensive line coach Brent Key is up to No. 3 in the 247Sports Recruiter Rankings.
The Crimson Tide signed just two offensive linemen in 2018, making it a huge need for Nick Saban and company this cycle.
In Kight and Quick, Alabama has a pair of decleaters at the position coming their way.

Do you thing we have any shot at Darnell Wright or is he all Ohio State?
Posted on 4/30/18 at 10:29 am to 14&Counting
Ohio State isn’t involved. Bama vs Tennessee battle. tOSU CB predictions are outdated.
