Our options and potential class right now are absolutely ridiculous. Going to be another logjam by the end of Fall/early Winter for those final few spots. Guys are jumping on board while they can now.

Surge and I communicate on a daily basis and we hypothesized yesterday how cool it would be if we got one commitment every day this week leading up to A-Day and then Saban dropped the hammer with someone like Sopsher, Webb and Tuitele.

We are at two so far.

Lee will be an enforcer for us on defense.

He's got a bubble butt, but he was meeting those RBs in the space without any wasted movement.

I love this pick up.

I agree but I think he will have to drop some pounds just like they made Reuben do after his junior year I believe.

Who would go to the OM dumpster fire?

I have my doubts.

Maybe the staff feels great about Alfano? His film is better than Handy's.

Handy said that we were second didn't he. I for one could care less about a kid from Miss. Who was the last kid we had from there who actually learned the defensive playbook? Wood all maybe

Looked pretty good to me.

Just about any LB is going to have some difficulty covering receivers or small RBs in a complete open field setting like that. Look back at some of Moses tape in similar camp settings.

Having said that, I agree that he’s probably close to or a bit over his maximum weight Bama’s going to want him at for his build.

Seriously? There’s a future first rounder on the DL from Meridian. Raekwon ring a bell?

I thought Woodson was going to light folks up. I think my expectations were way too high

Shane Lee is an absolute stud ILB. The only slight knock on him is he's just a little bit heavy. He won't be playing press and deep man coverage as shown in that camp film. That's cornerback stuff. I do think he'd be an even better LB by losing 10-15 lbs. It would improve his acceleration. Lee is a great get.

Sorry, I miss interpreted your lol followed by the weight loss comment.

Someone earlier said something along the lines of fearing he was another DePriest and that probably raised my antenna. Trey wasn’t one of our best recent LBs but he was pretty damn good (three year starter).
