After 80% of the 2019 signing class signed early you can imagine how high Young was on the board of many colleges for the late period. Several new schools tried to get involved. LSU, Ole Miss made the cut and went in 100% on him. So he was faced with a lot of pressure.

I've spoken to a couple college coaches, and one NFL former coach, who think he has as much upside as any DL in this class... Pretty high praise. Academically he's solid. Could have been a mid-year had he chosen.

I think at this point most just enjoy the melt from LSU fans. That said he and Lee are both LSU.
