Ok guys I've been out of the loop a bit! I see we have filled out most of our coaching positions.. How are they rated as recruiters?

WR coach looks like a solid recruiter/has pulled some real gems in terms of talent.
OL coach is TBD, his college lines at Rutgers when he was the OL coach were not good, but the talent level was also capped by being rutgers. Cubelic says that Flood is viewed very highly as an actual OL coach/technician.
RB coach is just a straight up home run recruiting wise.
Sunseri/Kelly both appear to be above average-good recruiters just on track record.

It takes unique athleticism to be able to “play up,” as opposed to having to move inside as a player becomes bigger and stronger. Allen left Alabama at 296 pounds, and Alfano should be able to do the same. When you see Alfano in person, it’s just different. He moves like a player who is 244, not 274. He has heavy, violent hands. He plays hard. A legitimate three-down impact player, he is perhaps the surest thing in the 2019 recruiting class.

Alfano needs to be kept at a weight that lets him work outside. He is so lethal against tackles who can't handle his raw strength.

So Bogle is officially visiting Florida? Even though I don’t want to lose him this is a position we are strong at. Anyone no what Hank says about it?

Said he will official this week to UF and likely unofficial to Miami next week. That's all he said.

I'm not worried about UF, but a decent bit about Miami. Still feel pretty good since Mom had such good things to say about Bama.

I'd worry more about UF than Miami when it comes to Bogle. UF has way more to offer than Miami.

I thought Mom wanted him at UM close to home, which is why they were always the biggest threat? I've mostly seen Pruitt is a bigger threat than UF.

Mom recently said that he wants to play on Sundays and she believes Bama will develop him to do so better than any other school.

I think (could be wrong) Bogle personally prefers Miami. Bama would be the business decision (sounds like for mom too). If his main concern is playing on Sundays then would probably be a good decision (maybe he'll get drafted by the Dolphins).

So Jacobs will be a top ten pick? I hope so.

Can someone post that on the rant.

If you are going to post it on the rant you need to include some other SEC non-Bama related content. Maybe something like:

"Will Jacobs be a top ten pick or has Leonard Fournette busting so quickly scared teams off from taking a back in the top ten."

Alabama WR Tyrell Shavers, who just finished his redshirt freshman season, participated in Alabama baseball practice today. Plays OF.

Head coach Brad Bohannon said Shavers has only been with the team a few days. They'll evaluate his status for the season in a couple weeks. Shavers played a lot of baseball in high school and has obvious athletic tools.

Jared Harrison-Hunte opted to take a 2nd OV to Miami instead of Bama this weekend according to Andrew Ivins (InsideTheU). Ivins CBd him to Miami; Penn St and Temple mods followed suit.

Wonder if we just got a private commit from a DL?

Maybe. But Bama offered Harrison-Hunte fairly recently. He's had Miami and Penn State as his top two for a while. And he appears to be behind Young, Sopsher, Pickering, Sorrells and Fuller for the last two DL spots. So it was already pretty unlikely that he'd end up at Bama.

Fournette looked really rough this year. Thing about him is he’s a monster in the open field with his speed. But the dude has no elusive ability and not really great vision either.

Sam Spiegelman a LSU mod thinks as of now Bama is the destination for Sopsher. He says both parents are on board for the Tide. LSU may have to hit a home run to get him when he OV's there next weekend. All this per Bone.TIFWIW

The talk from people that I listen to (Rodney Orr on TI included) is that LSU took the momentum on Sopsher in recent days. Bama gets him on campus soon, so we'll see what happens. I'm fine with any one of the three of Sopsher, Pickering, or Fuller.

Spiegelman mentioned LSU thought they had reeled him in but things have changed as of now again and we lead for him.
