Our 2020 class will have a final score of 330. I'm calling it. Greatest class ever and it will never be touched.

Yeah, Dabo needs to know who else to visit in Alabama. I never see him recruiting in-state. Come on man.
Idk what the hell you are talking about.

Who do think we add or lose?
I think we'll sign 3 of our 4 commits:
1) RB - Robinson
2) DL - Young
3) OLB - Bogle
Plus:
4) ILB - To'oto'o
Maybe:
5) DL - Sopsher, Pickering or Fuller
And maybe, if room for 30 or we whiff on #5:
6) TE - Seither or DB Williams (commit)
I feel pretty confident about #s 1-4.

I like the way you think Surge.

I know we need all the Dlinemen that we can get but it really don't like Sopsher. He has a Matt Elam vibe, in my opinion.

I think Matt Elam would have had a much better career had he came here, IF Saban could have gotten him to buy into the process. That is a big IF however. I do think he really needed a staff that would push him to be great instead of one who coddled him and told him how great he was.

Matt Elam would have busted. Glad he went to Kentucky.
I'm not sure of Sopsher. He obviously isn't driven or hard working, but that could just be his environment.
If he gets around people who are making moves he may get about his business as well.

What past Bama back was similar to Sanders at this point in his career? Who does he remind you of? How good will he be?

Matt Elam was a case of 247 trying to be the company who "discovered" him at their camp and shooting him to the moon ranking wise.
When in reality, he was a niche player that fit 1 scheme, didn't have a lot of offers, and wasn't a dominant HS player.
He had no business being the #21 overall player for them.
16/20 of the players in front of him are in NFL, 2 are graduating, 1 took a medical hardship, and 1 was a massive frickup.
Of the 9 players behind him, only 2 aren't in the NFL(with Gerald Willis to be a high pick).
Then you have Matt Elam...

Geographic Breakdown
The state of California leads the way with 32 prospects, followed by Texas (28), Georgia (26) and Florida (24). This shouldn’t come as a surprise as all four states annually churn out NFL talent. The Florida number dipped slightly with a few players being knocked out of the Top247 following all-star games.
The 2019 cycle marked a banner year for talent in Mississippi. As a result, the Magnolia State has the fifth most Top247 prospects with 12. Mississippi is followed by its Deep South neighbors Alabama and Louisiana with 11 each.

He is more polished and physically ready than Damien or Yeldon were at this point along with having more of the well rounded skill set (route running/pass blocking to an extent) already than Henry or Bo did, but he honestly reminds me of a combination of Harris and Yeldon both in Vision and Agility. With his physical tools and instincts I think he could be a feature back for us and top 2-3 rd pick just because we will never use him enough by himself to get more hype than that.

Jacobs is an elite pass catching back and the Patriots have popularized that. If Sanders becomes a great pass catching back then yes I think he also goes round 1.

I know the next "important" date is NSD in a couple weeks; but wondering if anyone has an idea about the rest of the schedule leading up to A-Day? (assuming there is a ton of guys already enrolled and even taking classes but wondering about the start of practices and the actual date of A-Day (A-Day will be very interesting as the new guys will be looking to play into some starts or getting attention for PT in the fall.)
Will be very interested in seeing the backup QB's showing out and who emerges as the leaders for OL / DL positions and who fills the LB/DB open slots.
So very excited to see this class make their way into the line up

Would be great to have some "Top of the Line" RB's from Bama to star at Bama for a few years. Seems these guys just want it more or maybe I just want it more for them?
Dont get me wrong, I love it when Bama has the top running backs in the class; but, when some of those guys are also from Bama... just hate when they dont play for Bama.
