Pickens has me wondering if he doesn't qualify, who is the highest ranked recruit you all can remember that had to go Juco? There may be somebody obvious but off the top of my head I can't think of a top 25 guy who didn't qualify.
3 in the top 10 is impressive. Although I think we were mostly a smoke screen we were in the top 4 for Thibs and we pushed hard to flip Leal. We are killing it this cycle.

Googling around it's probably OJ simpson in terms of best player to have to go straight into JUCO. I cant find a player from the top 25 in recent years who went for grades, probably because sites drop them if they look like non-qualifiers.

it was so hard to find players that were considered top tier in high school by recruiting services who didnt at least make it to a campus. I think recruiting services just bake in the potential ineligibility into their rankings.Posted on 1/14/19 at 12:30 pm to Tider95

- King Mwikuta is awaiting word on whether he can enroll early or not.
- Justin Eboigbe is supposed to be on campus at some point this week.
- Taulia Tagovailoa will enroll after the Polynesian Bowl.
- Trey Sanders is looking like a May enrollee.

I didn't say Bama was actively recruiting Henry. I said he would be a good signed but not over Totooto. Nothing more.

During the Dubose years, we signed a big defensive lineman out of Tennessee (not Means) he never made it on campus. I don't think he ever played anywhere. I'm wanting to say his last name was Payne. Might be wrong though
