They flipped to Georgia.

I wonder if Sam Madison and Jason Taylor being on St. Thomas Aquinas' staff has anything to do with things improving between the school and Saban. I know Jason Taylor has always said good things about Saban even after he left the Dolphins. And, a long-time former pro CB like Madison would know where a kid playing that position should go to get coached up properly.

I am going to miss Lock. Glad he is in the Big 10 conference. Not looking forward to recruiting against him, though.

Locks isn't stupid. Flipping one or two of our commits from the DMV area and letting Sanders and Neal slip away to UGA because he couldn't be bothered to do the work to keep them just isn't worth burning that bridge. Saban is both the best friend and worst enemy you can have among the coaching ranks.

If anything Saban is loyal. What Locksley has done won't be forgotten.

Yea - I was not sure about bringing him in at the time, but I've grown to love that giant of a man.

I hope he lights the world on fire in College Park and is nice enough to leave us a few recruits in the DMV.

Definitely will have a job waiting when the Maryland thing goes horribly sideways.

DMV area is absolutely loaded next year. It would've been nice to hang on to him for that.

Tosh is the one that needs to really step up, because the California 2020 class is the best out there in a decade

LOL yes, exactly right. And Golding will step right in and we'll roll on down the road.

Didn't see this posted, but a nugget on Battle's recruitment from Tim Watts:

Kirby Smart went to see Battle last week and tried to talk him into taking an official visit to Athens before making his decision. Source near the school told me he spoke to the dad as well. Kid wouldn’t budge.

Rest of Tim's nugget on Battle:

OSU never gave up on Battle. He informed the staff no on a couple of occasions. At the end the Buckeyes tried to get him to wait until the late period. Obviously he held firm.

But there was a lot going on last week. Several schools tried to get involved and one, maybe more, tried to muddy the waters for UA.

Nice job by Karl Scott and Joe Pannunzio.

Seriously, Kirby got a chapped a** after the SEC title game, and printed out a list of all of the players we were going after. It almost seems like it was personal. I mentioned earlier that he did the same thing with Reichard (K) as well.

Yet we will still have some people try to make up fake narratives to hate on Locks.

Locks has been good to Saban and Alabama.

Anyways, I'm pretty much at the point where these online bullpups are worse than the online tigahs.

At least the tigahs have championships to back their crazy. These dawgs have moral victories as their foundation to their overwhelming arrogance.

I agree. At least LSU has some recent National Championships to stick their chests out about.
