I don't know about him being 8-4 but it is going to get harder for Kirby. He has had free reign over a weak division, little staff turnover, and no need to fight against complancey. All of that is going to change soon. We will see how he handles it. Long term success in this business is hard to maintain.

They will be good and an elite team. Top 10 every year. I don’t see them winning a national championship. Not 1. I don’t think he’s capable of putting it all together. When’s the last time you saw Alabama get butt fricked like LSU did to UGA? Utah in 2008?

Alabama is doing something in terms of decade long consistency that nobody in the history of CFB has done. Never losing to non-top 25 teams and never getting blown out over a 10 year period is absurd and in a class of it's own all time.

I agree with the first part, and I think if you are a good/elite team you have a shot at a national title. I also think people see Saban and just assume if you are really good and close to a title you'll eventually win a few. That's not the way it works, but Georgia has as good of odds as anyone else not named Alabama the next few years.

I agree, but I also think that this fanbase really wants to write him off when so far he has been our only true consistent challenger. Could he fall off? Of course, I suspect he will as he has more turnover on staff and he has to face the consequences of his recruiting tactics, but until it happens it just sounds like weird sour grapes.

They have some tough ones on the schedule next year. East will be improved along with ATM and ND on the schedule. Who would be Fromms back up? He's been generally healthy but only takes 1 bad step.

Georgia will certainly start to get antsy if they dont win the SEC or National Title next year. They'll say that's not true, but they were so close in 2017, 2-3 straight top classes, etc.....if they are 4 years in and haven't reached the mountain top people are going to be pacing the halls.

Kirby's built some goodwill, but if he doesnt capitalize in the next couple years he'll get the Richt label really quickly.

and if he goes 8-4 I will laugh at his dumb bowl cut and celebrate his recruiting falling apart, but his teams are talented and they game plan well, even if he has one let down game a year that is still a formidable team.

I still think we run away in that game if Tua doesn't sprain his ankle on the first drive in the redzone with all the momentum.

Tua wasn't going to play 4th either way and you won't convince me otherwise.

Well Pruitt is a better coach than Kirby but he’s fighting an uphill battle on the talent front.

Pruitt is a more aggressive play caller (DC) and is better at getting kids to ball out for him. Kirby is a better program/people manager. Pruitt has some growing pains still ahead of him.

Pruitt has at least this and one more recruiting class til he has enough of the players he needs to run his system. It takes a good 3 years to change the player body types and skill sets from what UT was to what Pruitt wants it to be.

The Georgia rant forum delivers.

They are now apparently attacking another dawg fan with some kind of cancer (?) and have turned to mocking Fields and shitting on his family.

Forums like these need to be given to Mullens; negative recruiting extraordinaire to destory the foundation flowbee cut has built in Athens.

Gotta think all of this negativity doesn’t help UGA close down the stretch. It would be a real shame if they strike out on Dean, Neal, Sanders and Hasslewood.

Or they sign all of them and quickly forget this

Haselwood apparently is close to Fields so he might end up at FSU which would really upset auburn... so honestly this is an all around win

Also lurking over there... it's a really weird environment. They don't get nearly as bitchy at each other over things they disagree about, but the melts are extraordinary

It’s been a wild year of signing for recruits this year and it does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. With the No 1. overall inside linebacker, Nakobe Dean, expected to sign in the next couple of days, things are definitely going to get strange. With a lot of animosity between Trey Sanders and Alabama, certain events could take place that would point towards Sanders and Dean, both, signing with UGA. It has been a crazy ride for Dean himself as predictions have been all over the place for him through his recruitment. First it was Alabama, then Clemson, followed by UGA, then Bama, and now things seem to be right back where they first started—Uncommitted. If tomorrow were his signing day, I would say UGA.

Saw this on twitter on Crimson and blue chips . Wonder what animosity he alludes to between Sanders and Bama?

Is that from John Garcia?

If so, he's a fricking idiot so I wouldn't put much stock into what he says.
