Those are penalties that come from pressing to make plays... Probably to try and get more playing time because he knows he is better than both of our starting OLB's talent wise. Edge setting and containment wise almost assuredly not ready yet.

Mack’s mom said he’s coming back. Can’t really call it a confirmation because they will still have some time to mull it over after the year. Good sign for sure though

He's not better than either one of those guys. Hell If Lewis and Chris Allen didn't blow knees out he would have red shirted.

Nice job not quoting the part that puts it in context. "talent wise". He is not nearly as experienced, but as an athlete he is far superior to Jennings or Miller.

My point is that he is more talented than all but Lewis in terms of our current OLBs, and whether or not he was ready to play, he can see that and it probably is demoralizing to see less talented dudes play in front of you. That was why I talked earlier about expectation management and how it pertains to the transition from 5 star prospect to player at Bama.

He was one of the players that was pointed to for why Mora had to go, he was considered ready to play from day one and was a complete no show his freshman year.
