Serious, like Texas just brought over a bag full of hundreds , he found out he may have to retake a class, or a family emergency?

I have no clue. It’s crazy how much goes on behind the scenes with recruiting.

I am curious if something has happened off the field recently. Jumbo going into a new program does not need anything negative and all of a sudden he decommissioned from FSU. Decided to commit today during the early signing period which seemed sort of rushed and now might be held off by our staff. Almost as if he was trying to sign before something became a real issue and he could get locked in. Just reading between the lines because everything out there is he want s to sign today and with us.

Bama has already lost a top DL recruit to off the field issues, don't need to lose another one.

2018 can't get here soon enough.

I wonder if Dominick Wood-Anderson has been in contact with the NCAA today trying to get out of his letter of intent.

Brandon Turnage just committed for the class of 2019! National top 100 Ath/S from Oxford, MS. 6'1 180 pounds. We're killing it for that class.

BREAKING: Alabama lands elite 2019 ATH
quote:

Alabama has added yet another commitment in its 2019 class in four-star athlete Brandon Turnage, the Oxford (Miss.) Lafayette product announced on Twitter Friday.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder chose the Crimson Tide over Georgia, Ole Miss, and LSU (among others).

“I like how they coach,” Turnage told BOL last summer when the Tide offered at camp. “They’re some real hard coaches. They make sure you get it understood, but they also aren’t going to sit there and wait on you to get it right. They’re going to move on.”

Turnage chose not to follow in the family footsteps by spurning the Rebels, the team his two cousins -- D.K. Metcalf and D.K Buford -- play for.

Alabama hit the Magnolia State hard in the 2016 cycle landing several of top prospects in Nigel Knott, Raekwon Davis, and Scott Lashley. Turnage says he and Knott are "real close."

Turnage is rated the No. 9 athlete and the No. 100 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

The addition is No. 6 for Alabama in the '19 cycle, which bumps the class to No. 2 in the nation, per the 247Sports Team Rankings.

Credit defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley with the pickup.

Turnage says he and Nigel Knott are close. Hopefully that bodes well for how Knott feels about things at
Bama He's one I'd love to see him
realize his potential.
