We are now up to #3 in the 2019 class rankings behind Georgia and Florida.

Georgia has 7 commits, Florida has 8 and we have 5.

Average rating per commit:

Georgia - 95.77
Florida - 89.17

Us - 97.16

I don't know, but we've already told one Top 200 recruit he doesn't have a spot at this time.

We're going fricking scorched Earth for 2019.

Saddle up.

Clay Webb is one 5-star we'll get and Amari Kight may be even better than Pierce Quick.

Factor in 5-star OT Darnell Wright and we could sign an O-Line class for the ages.

I get hard just thinking about it.

From a BOL "insider:"

quote:

Lilslym, TT21, and others...this class is gonna finish incredibly strong. I wouldn't be surprised at all to finish 3rd. ITS is looking very good for Bama. From all I hear, he will be our only composite 5* CB this class, but Jobe and Savion Smith are immediate impact guys as well. I look for Brown to sign with Bama tomorrow from a friend of mine who is a regent at A&M. Also I think it was Slym that said watch for Keondre Coburn...so, I dug around and that's a real possibility as well. That would make 5 ELITE defensive linemen, and including JAD, 4 CBs capable of being immediate impact guys. I for one am simply not worries about this class. I saw today where someone said we lose another assistant after the season, and my team guy says it's Dunbar. If we can get someone with equal coaching, and a little better recruiting skills, then I'm excited about it. Everyone just hold that rope! Bama finished strong both in the season and in recruiting! Roll Tide.

FWIW, Eyabi Anoma is a Composite 5-star as well.

If Brown doesn’t sign tomorrow I figure that will give Jimbo time to reel him back in. JMO. Hope I am wrong

According to the articles I read today Brown has essentially eliminated A&M. He is deciding between Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma.

If we win the title next month he may not have to.

History shows the class after a national championship is usually fricking epic.

Plus we won’t need to sign a punter which brings our average down.

Who I see for our final spots:

1.) Ross or Waddle (don't see us using two spots at WR) WILDCARD: Jacob Copeland
2.) Nicholas Petit-Frere or Penei Sewell (I think if both wanted in we would find a way, but I doubt that both end up in this class)
3. Tyson Campbell or Isaac Taylor-Stuart (Again, we'd make room if both wanted in, but it's doubtful) WILDCARD: Kelvin Joseph, Patrick Surtain
4.) JJ Peterson
5.) Bobby Brown
6.) James Foster or Brock Purdy

This has to do with or new addition to the staff I assume. He was suppose to sign with Texas this week but delayed his decision now until Feb. 4* 6'1 320 DT. Be a great addition especially if we add B Brown as well.

And if we do to all the negative sky is falling recruiting bunch.

I think we are going to take more than six more. Unless you are saying we hold onto Jackson and Walker.
