I live up in North Alabama in Athens. It's not too far from Amish country (Lawrenceburg/Ethridge, TN area). If you want some superb woodworking/furniture (and other stuff... food and other things) at a terrific price, nothing in the world beats the Amish. Superior craftsmanship from anything you might get in a store, durable, good prices. I don't know if they make kitchen tables (and the ones they make might be too basic for what you're looking for), but I'm just talking in general.

Anyone know the status of Bama's interest in Kendell Jones from the 2016 class? Last I heard he is still really high on Bama... just wondering what is up

Keep an eye out at Kroger... start figuring out when they do their discounts. The one near me does a lot of it on Fridays it seems (this week they dropped milk to 1.00 a gallon for stuff that was good through the 8th. My munchkin goes through a lot still.) Worth making friends with the local grocery store and finding that stuff out if you're pinching pennies.

Check out some of the smaller cost-plus stores like Food Outlet or some Super Foods and Piggly Wiggly stores. I live in Santuck (just north of Wetumpka) and while high as rip on many things, the Piggly Wiggly in Eclectic is often cheaper than even Wal-Mart on simple things like milk and hamburger. It will be some generic brand, but a cow is a cow.
