Another thing. For all the obsessing some of you have for 5 stars and star ratings, guess who fricked us over today???

A bunch of five stars (beside QB)

Bo Scarborough?
Robert Foster?
Calvin Ridley?
Jonah Williams?
Mack Wilson?
Rashaan Evans?
Damian Harris?

All 5 stars. All made huge game effecting mistakes.

I’ll tell u one thing if we have a choice between E. Jones or M corral we better take the gun slinger in Matt Corral. He runs good too , I just think Jones would be more like Hurts. And I don’t think today was all his fault , but he can’t win a game passing if we’re behind!

Meh. 3-4 stars did the same. 4* Jalen Hurts, 3- 4* (everyone on the Oline except for Williams)

Entire line is 4 star or 5 stars. You're just obsessing over star ratings.

We had an I'll be coach who could turn 3 stars to first day draft picks. Now we can't get 4 and 5 stars to be consistently average.

My point stands. The 5 stars let us down. You want to avoid this however because it doesn't fit your narrative to blame on certain people.

We've got to replace Brent Key. He gets the least out of his players.

Thanks for proving my point.

One of the few 3 stars beat out the other 4 and 5 stars.

Now do us all a favor and pull up the 4 and 5 stars that 3 star Wommack benched.

TIA

For me he has to go. Brent Key was suppose to be able to coach them up.

He has failed miserably

You said the entire line was 4-5*, I proved you wrong by pointing out a three star, and you said that proves your point?

No chatta Alabama has never had the type of talent on the OL that Critobal and Keys had. This group constantly underperforms. It doesn't matter who is QB or who is RB if they aren't blocking the offense won't be successful.

You also can’t hold on to the ball all damn day and then blame the offensive line. That’s why I think Tua would have been a better option. He thinks quicker and holds on to the ball less.

I'm not saying Jalen played average or even good. He sucked tonght and that's coming from a supporter. Fact is though in 2009 McElroy sucked. We leaned in the OL and grounded out a win. 2012 Georgia is winning, Fluker gets pissed says run the damn ball behind me and Bama wins the game. Alabama has always had mediocre tonpoor QB play and every QB outside of AJ sucked until they won a big game like Coker. Truth is none of them were good but our OL was brilliant. They were mean arse meat eaters who took a game over. They haven't been that in 4 years and we have higher ranked linemen now than at any time in Saban tenure.

I think that's part of this teams problem , there seems like there is no Flucker type that gets fired up and says lets go and kick some arse guys!! They just seem to play flat in a lot of games , I know you can't play on emotions all the time but sometimes you need to put on your big boy pants and just decide you are not going to let your man beat you no matter what .

Everybody participated in the laying of that nasty egg yesterday. From the coaching staff to the players. From Saban not getting fired up and chewing peoples butt out to Daboll's non comprehensive play calling to Hurts comatose state infecting the whole offense and the fact that he's a rb playing qb. To senior wr Foster being so unaware of his position that he gave up a 1st down when all it took was falling backwards to keep a drive alive. To not only having to deal with 1st and Daboll but apparently we hung onto 3rd and Kirby. I told my brother early in the season this defense reminded me of the 2010 defense. Sadly this and other mistakes we haven't seen in a while all culminated in the gus bus celebration.

As far as the defense goes, If you would’ve told me we held them to 26 points I would think we would win. I know 26 isn’t great, but for a high powered balanced attack it’s acceptable. 14 points however is not.

I hate the cliché we beat ourselves but our D beat themselves yesterday. Trying to arm tackle people, Hootie getting juked over and over, etc. The 14 points on offense may have been enough if not for all the mistakes on D that cost us giving up big yardage on missed tackles, blown assignments(endzone jump ball), and them converting on every freaking 3rd down.

I cannot wait until Hootie and Tony Brown leave. I hate saying shite like that, but they are almost always out of position in the secondary.

Crazy Tony will only be missed for the humor he brings on the sidelines and before the game. His on the field play is awful.

He was good last year. Don't know why he took a step back this season

That's what happens when you prioritize athleticism over football IQ.
