I really don't want Joiner. I wish we RS Robinson, but either way we have great depth at RB with just 1 RB coming in. I'd rather get a better RB next year.

Yep. Let Joiner go play for O. Losing Martin to Auburn sucks. We need better recruiters on staff. This year was big and is disappointing.

What the frick are you talking about?
This class overall is one of the worst ones in the last 15 years as far as talent goes.
Alabama will still end up with a Top 5 class when it's all said and done. We still have 90 days until NSD.
I hope you aren't this pessimistic in the other facets of your life. Jesus.

Don't mind me, I am pretty pessimistic bro. I was saying that the class is big for us because we need dline and corners and I am spoiled from early success. I am salty over Georgia killing us this year.

Where exactly are the killing us?
Quarterback? Justin Fields' sister is going to Georgia.
Running back? Yeah, they got Zamir White, but our RB depth had more to do with that than anything.
We haven't really gone head to head with them.

frick you. Joiner and Miller coming down.

Serious question, why were we going to redshirt Ray? He looked really good out there tonight
Posted on 10/7/17 at 11:35 pm to Cobrasize
Hard to believe he was playing at around 255 (supposedly) at times last year in HS. He looks like a cyborg out there physically.
And Buggs is a beast.
We stunk it up and laid an egg on offense. But a win is a win. Nice to get through our usual once-a-year (hopefully that's all it is this year) midseason slopfest with a win. And the 2017 recruiting class looks more and more special every week. More good times ahead!

The light is on for Buggs. Like Jaren Reed in 2014.

Biggs has played really well the last couple of games.

3714 you’re correct, the 2017 class looks like they are going to be special.

Missouri has two commitments from two different high schools in Montgomery? When did that become an area of focus for them?

I agree Buggs had it going on last night. Look like a one man wrecking crew. Sort of reminded of that guy in the movie The Program that was jacked up but Buggs not being on roids.

With his Friday commitment to Georgia, Justin Fields is officially off the board. And while Bulldogs fans are thrilled to have him, the other schools Fields considered are now sent scrambling. Still, missing on the elite quarterback hurts some programs more than it does others. Below is a look at the losers in the Justin Fields sweepstakes and where each may turn from here.

Alabama Crimson Tide
Returning: Jalen Hurts (sophomore), Tua Tagovailoa (freshman), Mac Jones (freshman), Kyle Edwards (redshirt sophomore)
Where they go from here: This doesn’t hurt the Tide much simply because Fields was never a real possibility or priority. Nick Saban took a flyer on the five-star by hosting him on a recent official visit, but nobody actually thought Fields would land in Tuscaloosa. Alabama’s top quarterback target is another Georgia-based quarterback prospect in Heard County High School star Emory Jones, an Ohio State commit. Would Saban have been thrilled to land a surprise commitment from Fields? Sure, but it’s business as usual here. Should the Tide miss on Jones, however, things will become more dire.

Brandon Kennedy, the back up center from Wetumpka, was committed to them also before committing to Alabama.
No idea why they recruit the area.

Ray looked good too on some snaps. Can't wait to see them next year.
