Even better. We can host him on his own dime this weekend and officially host him during the LSU game.

Not really recruiting related but former player BJ Emmons is having an alright season at Hutchinson CC. He is not the starting RB and they have used 10 different players at RB in 5 games but he currently leads with 271yds and 7 TDs in 5 games so far. They are now ranked as well.

Any idea where he ends up?

I hope we don't face him, future NFL back imo.

There was a rumor going around on another Bama site that Emmons wanted to come back to Alabama. I don't know if it is true or not.

From what I know I think Louisville, Clemson, and UT may be his top three right based on who is showing the most interest. UT was his favorite growing up and UT and CU are both maybe 2-3 hours from his family. Louisville though may be the school to watch out for.

If UA was an option I think he would jump at at it especially if both Bo and Damien leave for the NFL. But my understanding is there is not a lot of communication between him and our staff to indicate he is coming back to UA.

Probably.

I think he would be stepping into a pretty good situation at Alabama if he were to return assuming Bo and Damien both declared for the draft.

Especially if we don't land a true RB soon for this class.

I agree with him getting playing time and could step right back into the program for the spring he would be a great addition. Since we have seemed to miss out on our RBs for this class I hope we push for him. He follows a lot of UA players and post pics and videos from our games. Always supportive of UA on twitter.

I will reach out to his old HS coach(good friend of mine) and see what the current word is, but I think our staff and has been wait and see as to how he does this fall and who we may get.

BTW the stats I posted earlier he did not play much in the first game. In the last 4 games he has 259yds and 7TDs. It seems he is starting to separate himself from the stable of RBs they have there.

We all know he was a beast coming out of high school. If he hadn't gotten hurt and transferred he'd probably have a good bit of carries for us this season.

By the way he has got up to 235 or so now all from the weight room. He is just trucking over people.

My understanding a little depressed from taking longer to recover. When he got hurt last October he had to get two surgeries on the foot. Once he thought it was good to go had to go back and lost some weight as well. I was told in the spring he was down around 205 but now has hit the weight room and sitting around 235.

My understanding there was no ill will at all between him and the staff. He just wanted to get back on track and did not see it happening at UA with everyone in front of him and his rehab taking so long.

A guy on BOL says Adam Anderson will be on campus this weekend for the Ole Miss game.

He also says Anderson is 50/50 between Alabama and Georgia right now with him leaning a "tad" towards Alabama.

And now another "insider" has chimed in and says 55/45 UGA.

I don't know how I missed this until now, but BamaMag and BOL are merging tonight.

It looks like John Garcia will be focusing on a regional role as opposed to covering Alabama directly as well.
