We want to live in Prattville for the school system.
congrats. Prattville has grown so much since my family moved there back in 92. Not much reason to go to Montgomery these days. I'm not sure I could go back to Central Alabama after having lived somewhere like Idaho (or in my case Washington State) though. the heat, humidity, and bugs would kill me. Im coming back end of August to attend my brother in law's OTS graduation, dreading it a little

I'll be out of the loop for the next 2 days delivering Dodge Chargers and going to amusement parks in Salt Lake City.

Y'all keep the thread going.

I'll actually be at Gunter,

Welcome back. I still remember growing up in that area and going to MEPS there. Drove by there the other day, hasn't changed a bit.

Used to go to the bowling alley there all the time on Gunter. Their grocery store is good.

My wife and I are having thai at Thai Siam off State Street, SLC this afternoon around 3:30ish if you want to grab thai with some Bama fans while you're visiting here.

Sounds like Jarrett Bell will commit to us on Monday. A former OL for Bama whose evals I really respect calls him an "animal" and thinks he's a big-time player and someone who will impact early in his career.

But whatever will we do with another 3* committing?

As long as Bama lands Penei Sewell on the OL, I don't care who else they take.

OSU got Nester as their first 2019 commit. Know Bama was another finalist

This is the weirdest recruiting year for Bama since Saban was hired.

I'm good as long as Saban doesn't start talking about 5 star hearts.

Never really heard us as a serious threat for him. We really want Darnell Wright (is that his name?), the other OT from WV, though. He had a monster camp at Bama, with our staff thinking he can be a 5* guy.

I think Lupoi may be the best recruiter in the country.

Yep, and it's simply unfair he's at a school like Bama. Sark was bringing him here, but an issue came up that scared off Haden. Our loss was ur gain. Freaking Haden

FWIW, Jarrett Bell's measurables:

Height & Weight: 6'5" 285lbs
Shuttle: 4.38
Vertical: 33
Bench: 315
185 Bench (Reps): 39
Squat(LBS): 495

That shuttle time and vertical is outstanding for his size. He's very highly coveted by our staff.

It'll be interesting if we take one more (after Bolden and Bell) camp evaluation guy in Vernon Jackson that the recruiting services grade (or maybe haven't really seen much of yet) WAYYYYYY lower than Bama's staff. I'm not really sure where Jackson is on the board right now, but it'll be interesting to see if they take him with as many top LB types we're in on.

A camp standout. Makes me think of another one people questioned taking over a summer camp performance, Chance Warmack.

Reminds me a lot of Ryan Kelly coming out of HS.
