Surely Michael Parker gets a Scholly now, right? I mean unless they grab some random guys late today or have some grad transfers lined up you would think he can go ahead and get his scholly now and not have to Blueshirt.

USC's class is a bit surprising to me. Small class but has SERIOUS talent. And I'm of the opinion that Helton is a REALLY bad football coach. Bad enough that you can legitimately hurt your chances of developing for the next level.

If you offer him and he signs and doesn't qualify you lose that scholarship. Why not save for next year and back count it's a deeper class with more impact players.

Less than stellar recruiters on the staff. I think Saban got a little complacent and thought that the program could recruit itself for a year without stellar recruiters and not have a drop off. I can't wait to see his presser, as I'm sure he's gonna light a fire under his staff and kick arse and take names in 2019.

Mike Shula's recruiting classes were 49, 15, 18, 11.
Mike Shula signed 1 5-star in 4 recruiting classes (unless you want to count the 3 times Mike Ford signed and never stepped on campus).

And all of those teams ahead of us with the exception of Clemson and USC have signed at least 5 more players than us.
shite people need to calm down. Under Shula we'd be thrilled to just be in the top 10.
We've had like 5 different coordinators in 2 years. That's gonna hurt recruiting and none of us were ever really high on the talent in the 2018 class anyway. We will be fine.

We wanted a TE and he was really the one we could get in this class.
